Yeah, that rule is in place to stop any angle shooting with regards to a transfer outside a window

I actually think that Rodgers is probably a really good coach. I also think that he is **** as a manager.

Tottenham Hotspur @SpursOfficial
#THFC team: Lloris (c), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Mason; Chadli, Alli, Son; Kane

#SAFC team to face @SpursOfficial: Pantilimon, Jones, PVA, Borini, Gomez, Kaboul, O'Shea, Lens, Defoe, Toivonen, M'Vila.

Both teams look fairly interesting actually.

Most I celebrated a Man United goal ever I'm pretty sure! In fact was rooting for them the whole game which was a slightly weird experience but too many players that I'm rooting for on their team currently. Martial, Darmian and Herrera in particular but I'm also starting to seriously appreciate Daley Blind.

Will also say about Martial's goal, that while some fortune was in play, he does have an athletic/technical knack of maintaining control and pace with the ball in those situations coming out with it with good balance in even more crowded spaces than a 1v1 with Skrtel.

He is doing very well and has looked, along with the partnership as a whole, extremely comfortable in every game. He plays so smart and everything has been to his strengths so far. Of course Smalling putting it all together + Lvg balance helps a lot but still very impressive the fine all-round player he is proving himself to be.

yeah you definitely don't want him distributing or with dominant time on the ball. I'm in limbo what he should become. maybe cb really would be the most sensible way to go and the eventual end destination for him but maybe there is still hope for some kind of well defined box to box midfield role but again apart from in youth tournaments with a clear physical edge over everyone he's never looked great in midfield and has frequently been very bad.

Spurs better have fulfilled the great Son song potential.

Bentaleb out for a month isn't great. Dier has been surprisingly good in CM, and Mason will run all day. Son, Alli and Chadli look to have goals in them, but worried where the link play will come from.

I've also been warming to Dier in that midfield role. Lots of potential.

Spuds free currency if those players perform according to their potential...feels dirty but might stick a lot on it...consulting kev beforehand if he loads up on it I just stay away

The jury is still out on Blind as a CB but he has done incredibly well so far so gotta keep rolling with it. I don't think it's a coincidence to see Smalling playing out of his mind with Blind beside him as Blind seems to be becoming somewhat of a leader of this team. He is prob the most intelligent footballer we have at the club. Shaw on the other hand is probably at the other end of the scale but he has Blind beside him also which is a huge help. He can only learn and get better from him.

Anyway, 10/15 is a satisfactory start I guess but this is where it all starts now esp with the CL games kicking in. Huge tests ahead also and we have to start performing on the road. Actually can't begin to describe how good it feels to have DDG back between the sticks.

and yeah definitely good to see some effective Arsenal pressing high up the pitch yesterday more like a unit. Hopefully more to come in the future and Gabriel being inserted I'm sure played its part. No Giroud maybe some kind of part also though I'm not saying he shouldn't play.

by this I assume you mean they'll be singing "Here Comes The Sun" on the terraces when he gets subbed on in the 60th minute

I think there are many possibilities and that is indeed one of them.

Now on the top of my head of course I can't remember them all. Many came to mind the day when they signed him. The fans will have had the time to ponder them (or how on earth these thing work) and will hopefully not let us down (& don't let the sun go down on me was one that I just remembered - yeah so many).

Happy Mondays' kinky afro may be a fun (if obscure) option.

Spoiler:
Son, I'm thirty. I only went with your mother cos she's dirty.

Wish football fans were that creative. It'll be some generic song already sung by another club.

thought that was a peno in real time

Great first tough by Son. Stonewall penalty (twice).
09-13-2015 , 08:32 AM
if Martial can master the Luis Suarez "hit it off the defenders legs and hope for (and usually get) a favourable rebound" then we could be on to something
