Some progress which shows us getting better and a clear sign of a plan of tactics and playing style that doesn't change every other month or so would be a good start. Oh, and not ****ing up so bad on transfers every year would be a good thing.

I don't think we'll consistently get top 4 every year simply based on the financial difference with the teams in front of us but we should, at the very least, be competing with them. Right now we are competing with Spurs/Everton/Swansea/Southampton for the 5-8 spots every year.

We can't create chances or score goals though

Neither can we

We all need to step back and remember that Rodgers has overseen the first West Ham victory at Anfield since the early 1960's. I commend him for this and recommend that he is given a five year contract extension.

Yes but you don't have Dejan lovren
09-02-2015 , 01:03 PM
True. You win lose.
09-02-2015 , 02:14 PM
And you ****in know Lovren is gonna start next game...

We'll probably respond by starting Romero tho. Will be interesting to see if their awfulness will be enough for the sterile attacks to get a few goals.

Am I the only one shaking their head at the thought of DDG not being mentally right to play? **** me he will be a Madrid player next year. Fair ****s to John Stones - other players/managers take note.
09-02-2015 , 02:37 PM
be funny if lvg rolls with romero for the season (seems v unlikely but possible)..

would mean man utd are devoting £3.5m (de gea wages) + £3m (valdes wages) + £1m (romero wages) + £29m (value given up cos windows 95)

= £36.5m in exchange for a year of sergio romero in goal

DDG named in CL squad

Valdes not

i think bob should get the credit for this - victor moses started for us vs chelsea when everyone and their grandmother knew he was about to sign for them. had a good game too. 5 days later he was a chelsea boy. think bob is just quite happy to chuck the player in regardless and i like it.
09-02-2015 , 02:59 PM
100% they should all play.
09-02-2015 , 04:21 PM
Thing is Victor had reason to be unsure that he'll be a chelsea player 6 days later.

Managers schmanagers - credit to Dave Whelan for not giving a **** that Moses could injure himself and going for the gloire of beating the bus.

I'ld be pretty sure that Berahino hasn't played the last couple of games for WBA not only because he wanted to leave, but also because Peace was protecting an asset for which in view of the probability of receiving decent bids it was reasonable to believe that that course of action would be +ev.

I feel for them, but unfortunately if they don't go to the games other 50k(at least) are in line...

Yeah Peace really played a blinder. Tried desperately to create a market for a player whose contract was running down by providing a running commentary of all Spurs bids + Berahino's transfer request via their website - then threw his toys out of his pram when Levy, realising he was the only bidder, tried to lowball him.

that actually seems fairly accurate. the only thing that is certain in all of this is that peace is either an idiot or a first grade c-unit.

lol at his super weak/stupid attempt to make it seem like spurs were making their pursuit of berahino public. and doing that publicly. i hope he doesn't get a single pound and then pulis spends about 30m on washed up john terry, peter crouch, and john walters.

So Arsenal didn't buy a striker? We're kinda screwed if Giroud gets hurt. Austin would've been plenty.
