I've been reading up on XG. One of the main people explaining it has a blog from early last season that says "Why Arsenal wins the title on my model".
Stopped reading after that.

We've been alot better than I thought, a bit more pace upfront and better service. We could win this. Need to speed up the passing too right enough.

We finished 14pts ahead of them last season.
Our £200m since LVG is a net spend of £130m and includes £63m of spending that Moyes lined up and LVG didn't veto. LVH is on a net spend of £67m and has massively improved our defence and midfield in that time, taking us from 7th to an almost guaranteed top 4 side that's looking to kick on to a title challenge next season.

Seems like people have zero patience these days, he's 1 season and 6 games into his tenure and has massively overhauled the club. Look at the squad list from last summer to this, it's insane the work he's putting in, and we're just getting in a position where we can start challenging for the title.
When Fellaini scores the winner in this game we're tracking very well for top 3.

Im pretty sure Giggs must sit there every week and just constantly bite his tongue watching this dross.
LVG seems almost clueless to me ... spend a near fortune and gives us this in return.
Our final third play is so slow and cumbersome ... cannot all be Wayne's fault surely !
