I really like Mason, and despite several failures in the final third where either his touch, shooting or vision let him down he didn't hide or stop working for the team. Obviously in an ideal world he isn't a starter, but he is important to the team over the course of a season.
I can 100% see where Son fits into this Spurs team - he might be just a posh Townsend, but we really need that directness in attack with guys willing to get beyond Kane. Alli also does this, and they should both be pushing for starts against Sunderland. We obviously really missed Eriksen, and it was a shame Pritchard didn't get longer.
Next up are Sunderland away, and FK Qarabag at home. We won't get a better chance to fill our boots with goals before 3 tough games (albeit all at home) against Palace, Arse and Man City
Didn't Ramsey look like a midfield goal threat back to when he was 18/19? Like you weren't sure if he was going to pan out to be a star, but you saw the characteristics of it.
I mentioned earlier that I think Spurs are going to be fine but I do have to add that it's based on Pocco getting a lot out of the most central nondescript midfield on earth. You have a bunch of ham and eggers in there.
