I have soared up the table this week. Your tale is like the one of an IKTS Lazarus. A ranty Irish Lazarus with issues taking holiday from work, but still like Lazarus.

Its just another analytics model and if it wasnt used in a video game, people would be drooling all over it
1. I thought the same. But i got told A LOT of the stats is from volunteers. They have hundreds of volunteers giving stats about teams. (a guy on villa forum used to be one of those volunteers for villa)

2. People would not be drooling over it. I mentioned just Kane apps-goals stat on another forum just to say how impressive it was for first season and i got told "i rather not use stats to judge things but use my eyes". Average person hates every single little thing which can come under a "stat"

After undergoing several checks, Henderson has suffered no hairline fracture, which means he could be back to face Arsenal. [Mirror] #LFC

I wouldn't risk him, we're not getting anything out of that game anyway.
08-20-2015 , 06:20 AM
Oh no you are most definitely getting everything from that game...

Spoiler:
but srsly ploppers stop REVERSE jinxing

That is pretty funny.

I am all for using championship manager stats, when I first got into betting on football I credit most of my wins to the knowledge I had from playing that and Fifa.

They should go the whole hog though and employ a teenager who actually plays the game rather than Danny Higginbotham and Jim White to analyse the players stats and then get him to show who he would have signed.

Of course, I meant that stat oriented crowd would be drooling if some 3rd party analytics company invested millions and created a rating system

RAWK now in love with Benteke after the entire forum slating him all summer prior to him signing.

It really is amazing how Liverpool unearth such talents from literally no where, which is probably why they don't have to splash the cash heavily to compete for the title every year.

Benteke still not right for us tho.

I'm behind the Benteke signing. Who else were we going to buy? Of course he isn't ideal but football is the art of possible. Benteke was possible.

Definitely - £7m was amazing business for Villa.
08-20-2015 , 01:41 PM
ok, Kompany was 6million when he signed...how much would he go for today? 35-40?
08-20-2015 , 01:52 PM
Right or wrong, I am actually not convinced that Liverpool is going in for a drubbing at Emirates.

Losing by one or a draw if you ask me.
