English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league

If you look at Mignolet, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez, Ibe, Lallana - then withold judgement on guys like Benteke, Milner, Can for now - there is a big majority of our matchday squad who are nowhere near good enough for the level we should be requiring.

I don't know what the solution is, but I can't see how Rodgers position will be tenable at the end of the season.

hopefully pool and mun continue to bink jammy 1 goal wins and chelsea end up 5th

Holy hell that linesman should be on his way to the gulag for "corrective training" ie cattle prod to the nuts.

Pool off to the races

Lol at the ploppers

2 played 2 wins and they're still complaining.

Know your place.

harder than i hoped.
I'll take it.

Clyne and Milner good again, Benteke played well also.

Worrying lack of press from Firmino. Jesus I hope Sturridge can stay fit this time.

I didnt watch the game because I have a test tommorrow
But aparently we were ****, Bournemouth had a fair goal disallowed and we scored on a goal that shouldnt have counted and that they specificly told the referrees not to allow like 2 weeks ago. Is that accurate?

Did plop look dire or was Bournemouth defence that good?

Just tried coming up with what I think the table will look like at the end of the year and it's actually pretty difficult aside from Sunderland being a dumpster fire lock for last.

We played fine and bourn defense wasn't very good.
Richie made some trouble upfront. Apart from that Liverpool passed about 100 more times and won pretty routinely.

you werent crap, created quite a few chances, but yea if the refs have a good game you dont win

Horrific decision from the linesman tbf, one of the worst you'll ever see.
08-17-2015 , 05:16 PM
Plop played decent today. Weren't nearly clinical enough in front of goal. Amazing how coutinho is super elite at ridiculous long range wonder goals but can't put sitters on target.

They deserved to win, but easily could have dropped points because they didn't put away their chances.

lol
did notice that all of pool's set pieces were very 'playbook'-y
08-17-2015 , 05:43 PM
Im sure its preety dumb to try being smart in offensive set pieces when you are winning and there is 1 minute remaining.

on the evidence of tonight, i think bournemouth will be fine. either that or plop are incredibly fraudulent and running good

They looked like Burnley last season.
Hard working, not good enough up top.
They will get a lot of compliments but if they cannot improve they will definitely fight to not get relegated by the end of the season.

It's kinda scary how much I've soured on Rodgers. I'm starting to lean into the fraud camp now ... he isn't getting the best out of some good player (regardless of how much they overpaid for some). Lineup and formation/roles are also puzzling. At least they are looking solid defensively.

Pls nobody pull up my previous posts, I'm sure I fellated Rodgers as a tactical genius at some point.

I think you can ask pretty serious questions about a manager who comes up with the left hand side combination of Gomez/Ibe from his various options.

anyway, assuming brent stays in management for the next 10 years its a virtual guarantee that he'll be universally considered a genius again at some point
