John Carver is a ****ing idiot - holy **** he'll struggle to get another coaching job. Just stop talking!

I think actually he's just acting out the role of "best manager in the world" - I'm pretty sure most of the time he's just trolling football to see how far he can push things.

However, there are times when he does actually lose it, like when she ran on and it was instinctive for him to call her back, after that though he slips back into character. I still think he's less emotionally invested than most managers - I doubt he goes home and bends his wife's ear about Wenger, Eva or anyone else in football.

Wenger otoh....

He'll be ok. They paid out the remainder of his 5 year contract in full when he left. He just needs to lay low a little while - which won't be difficult because nobody will give a **** about him in 6 months - and he'll find a job in League One at the very least you would think.

Lol at some of thread having a go a pool for Shelvey deal. Pretty much 90% of the thread were telling us how terrible he was when Kenny started running him out in our midfield. Pretty much only pool fans actually rated him.

I seem to recall most of the thread thinking his move to Swansea was a pretty good deal all round

After West Ham yesterday had "Claret & Blue Day" at the club (I'm not entirely sure what it involved, some streamers, a bubble machine and other **** that is of no interest to anyone) there are some interesting posts on our forums regarding our owners.

Quote:
As usual most on here are missing the point totally....

The club doesn't have any sort of fan relationship that it can work with and actually work with supporters to find out what they really want.

The SAB is just a group of fans that the club use to make out that it gets approval for anything it wants to bring in.

So when things like yesterday come along...it feels a bit like the Royal "its a knock out".

All it clarifies to me is the club and the fans still have a lot of bridges to build and sadly those in charge really don't understand their customers.

The difference between Arsenal and Fulham fans and us seems to confuse them.

We don't want to be like Arsenal or Fulham.....they want to be like us !!

Not interested in building bridges with old support its now the new breed or tourists they want.

They have lost mine and my family support by the club's greed. What should have been a celebration this season and also one of sadness for leaving the Boleyn has turned to anger and resentment to the people running the club.

They have also priced out supporters this season for day trippers and like others say to make us more nice and fluffy like Arsenal.

God help the club if they ever get relegated again. They will then be desperate to get the loyal fans back.
These are two pretty good posts IMO and show how divided the club is at present.

anyone got a feel for if Aguero ready to start or sub again?
08-16-2015 , 07:53 AM
100% start imo - Bony did next to nothing on Monday night and Aguero at least came off the bench. Sanchez starting today for Arsenal so I imagine the same will happen with Aguero.

As a Chelsea fan I'm not super optimistic heading into this, but we always seems to be able to get results though

“How good is he Graham, is he a top top player or just a top player?"

“He's a top player, he's certainly not a top top player.”
