And the great thing is she can play off the opposite scenario just fine.
She wasn't negotiating based on future job prospects, she was negotiating because she assumed Chelsea just wanted to sweep it under the rug, which was proven right when they offered her the £1.2m. Her prospects were so great she was going to work at Charlton and is now working at a clinic in Gibraltar

But I'm also suggesting the high profileness of the case makes the gender matter here whether we like it or not. So my guess is that is maybe helpful considering media and everyone is on side and is unlikely to face rejection should she choose to find another job working at a football club. Based on limited info (gets offered job back, asks for >40% pay rise, turns down settlement) I feel she's in a strong position whatever path she chooses. I also was a little surprised at the figure of her initial salary anyway. Which for a medical professional in England is, well it's a snap call for anyone. Also googled what arsenal pay their medical staff / physios and it was in the five figures. Maybe it's about principle. I wish it was. You know rejecting million pound sums and telling them to **** off. It's what I would've done. Except I would've left the 'asking for a 40% pay rise' out of my process and accepted their lifetime season ticket offer a few weeks later.

Edit: figures for arse off random internet site, could be wrong. Maybe first team doctor rate at big clubs is normally is very high. 5am will check tomorrow (or never).

Yeah I found a few figures putting Canero's salary at $50k (lol) so I wouldn't take it as gospel.

However, any PL football clubs can probably fill a stand with doctors, sport scientists, etc with a salary of £100k a year, so lol at paying any support staff £250k.

WRT increasing future prospects Dr Eva Canero=Dr Jacklyn Moskow.

Shocker you should go on twitter and ask where are the Chelsea hooligans meeting up, then take yourselves as far away from them as possible.

Is it possible Man Utd offered to split the cost of the settlement to avoid the bad PR of her testimony being public? Seems like some kind of weird deal must have gone down, what with Mou turning up when he didn't need to be there and now this.

edit: Chelsea statement

I would be down for it, but it's probably too late.

Hello friends, I just got a late cancellation for the first part of my grand euro trip. This means I'm currently sitting on 1 ticket for Iceland - Austria on the 22nd and 1 ticket for the round of 16 on the 27th. Both games at Stade de France.
