He was at Arsenal before us, I think he featured as a sub in one of our UEFA Cup qualifying games. From what I remember - quite big, quite quick, second touch is likely to be a tackle - in summary, very English. I can only assume Hannover are desperate.

I can only assume that there was another tweet that added "unless they're out of work and desperate, in which case it's probably fine" afterwards. Blast that 140 character limit.

Is it fake, or just been taken down? It's not on his twitter now.

Seems it's fake, disappointing.

legit wondering if putting fatarsed knackface in goal rather than at #10/#9/midfield would be less damaging. i'd only consider doing it vs the ****e teams who probably wont have more than one shot on target (eg wales)

i remember him having a GK rating of 4 on one of the FM games which is unusually high, so he might be half decent. plus hes put some weight on since then so occupies a higher percentage of the goal area

Rooney is free money
06-03-2016 , 02:49 PM
Arsenal has triggered Jamie vardys release clause. I'm not sure what that means but it appears to be a thing.

Milner 6/5. Woy will want some experience in there along with knacker. Sterling should be in the 11 as well
06-03-2016 , 02:56 PM
maybe we should include geoff hurst in the xi, he can provide enough experience to cover the entire team and then with the other 10 selections we can focus on picking the actual best footballers for this football competition

(steaming about rooney taking the #10 role, if thats what happens, which it looks like it will, which i am steaming about)

seems utterly pointless playing Vardy if he's going to be out wide. I'd put Sterling there if we (correctly) assume Rooney is undroppable and has to play down the middle.

I mean it's blindingly obvious that Rooney ought to be fighting for a place on the bench at best, but here we are. Best we can hope for is Kane is actually allowed to play as a striker with Rooney roaming around behind him.
06-03-2016 , 03:06 PM
one thing to be thankful for: at least alli is v likely going to be in the xi. if he is straight dropped for fatarsed knacktits i may go feral

also, still time for rooney to develop a mystery face-saving euro-2016-shaped injury
06-03-2016 , 03:33 PM
He's going to end up shoehorning Kane and Vardy into wide roles
06-03-2016 , 03:35 PM
Or Ali. If Rooney must play then go

------Hendo-----Dier------
Milner---Rooney---Sterling
------------Kane-----------

Completely agree with this. I like the Leicester/Vardy story as much as everyone else, but we completely wasted the naughties trying to fit the best (or most in-form) eleven players in without considering the best team. Sterling has been wank as a winger, Vardy has been great as a CF, but it does not logically follow that we should therefore shove Vardy out wide.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

if he must play then replace hendo/milner in cm
06-03-2016 , 03:51 PM
You get destroyed against anyone decent with Rooney in cm. He completely lacks the positional awareness which is 75% of the job
06-03-2016 , 03:51 PM
Play the Daily Fail team imo...
