DECISIONS AGAINST ASTON VILLA

DARMIAN BLATANTLY TAKES DOWN MICAH RICHARDS DURING A CORNERKICK. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PENALTY FOR VILLA BUT NOTHING GIVEN.

mun do look much more solid than last year. if they had an elite bloke operating in the final 3rd they'd be a genuine title contender imo. someone like bale, hazard, di maria

Penalty of course, but never given.

I thought UTD was good and controlled until the goal but not as good since.

Rooney is so garbage atm

no excuses for that idiot Dean as there wasn't much traffic to fight through

awful, United infinite run hot continues

True, it is given. But I would say occasionally as opposed to often. Certainly as a percentage of the time it happens... it's "occasionally" at most.

Utd look fairly good, albeit, Mata aside, bereft of any penetration upfront. Villa do look exactly like a team trying to accommodate 8 new signings though.

Darmian, Smalling and the CMs especially impressive. Is Smalling Utd's #1 CB now? He looks impressive whenever i've seen him recently.

seems to me that you tend to see better officiating in matches between bottom half teams, the ref isn't so scared about getting it wrong that he just calls the game as is, and generally does a better job of it. you see more correct PKs, reds, etc given, rather than erring on the side of caution.

Bit worried about our FB's. They are giving us nothing going forward.

You can be sure the first change is going to be Young for Depay which will cause Depay so get a bit mad.

Hasn't happened so far and probably won't tonight because they fluked two goals in 1st half but I want to see this Man Utd team playing with the urge to score a goal because they really seem to struggle to create much positive and Rooney is not helping for that purpose so far. Shaw/Darmian not helping much either and there doesn't seem to be much penetration from the midfield

Defense looks OK, CM distribution looks good but chance creation is severely lacking

Siege tower still got a place on utds bench?
08-14-2015 , 03:58 PM
My hot takes . Januzaj and Depay are not up to the pace of the prem, Mata needs to be no10. Rooney needs to stop dropping into mf

Anything good Villa do is usually off the back of a mistake from us. Serious lack of composure at times from experienced players.
