"I think Everton have totally underachieved this season. As manager Martinez has to take responsibility, they can't see games through.

"I think a lot of his problem is the rubbish he talks after the games, I think he has lost credibility with the supporters because of that."
I like Chris Sutton

its a balance. if feeder clubs like sevilla and dortmund hold out for too much money they'll find all their players will run down their contracts & leave for free since there'll be a btvditw £15m signing on bonus + 175k/wk deal waiting for them at burnley or somewhere like that

You're CL record is abysmal for a team that has been in it for countless years in a row.

He has been a great manager but I think he is past his best. He has lost the vast majority of the fans and when that happens there can only be one outcome. Wenger should do himself and the club a favour and just walk away. Maybe go take over Real Madrid, I'd say they'd take him in a heartbeat.
You don't need to continually type multiple paragraphs for the idea "Wenger/Martinez haven't performed over expectations for the last year or two and should be gone," it's just that other people are assessing beyond a glance at the league table

Wenger should've spent. The best thing though is as things turned out they didn't actually need to this season.

This, I think NBCSN was going to show the Everton game but the two relegation games were relevant so they are on in the US.
