cashy,

are you pro Wenger?
04-30-2016 , 06:09 AM
of course

Don't get me wrong I don't agree with the whole protest thing, that just doesn't sit right with me but how can you continue on supporting the manager when you are not making any progress? When's the last time you actually had a genuine chance of winning the league? And when I say genuine I don't mean midway through the season, Im talking about crunch time, April/May. You're CL record is abysmal for a team that has been in it for countless years in a row.

He has been a great manager but I think he is past his best. He has lost the vast majority of the fans and when that happens there can only be one outcome. Wenger should do himself and the club a favour and just walk away. Maybe go take over Real Madrid, I'd say they'd take him in a heartbeat.

why? surely 2nd should be bare min this season? Tragic if you finish 4th
04-30-2016 , 06:45 AM
Wenger should go to Madrid, the meltdown from RITS would be spectacular.
04-30-2016 , 06:49 AM
wenger's xfer policy of waiting for the perfect solution to fall into his lap is now indefensible given arsenal's financial muscle imo

as an example, they got petr cech for buttons this summer, which is super. downside of waiting for that opportunity to fall out of the heavens tho is that they spent what felt like about 10 years with flappyhandski/clownmunia/the polish smoker falling about doing oafk stuff and costing them trophyEV. terrible. #wengerout

i heaped on arse to win the title early last summer cos i figured there was ~100% chance he'd spend like 100m+. this was arses time to shine what with mun & pool probably being the worst they'll be for the next 25 years, ozil and alexis being in their primes, city not looking all that strong.. this was the window of opportunity. butnah ZERO OUTFIELD PLAYERS?!?

Don't know what you're talking about, I have no problem with him going to Madrid. There are many nice retirement homes for senile people like Wenger.

Lol at Wenger 'doing the club a favour and walking away'. I kinda hope it happens just so some of these idiots realise how good they have it with Wenger.

Agree, kept them in the CL all these years. Basically paid for that stadium and which has moved the club forward.

He's just 'unlucky' if you will that there is so much financial doping in the league. He'd likely have more than 3 league titles. He'd have been able to keep players like Cashley.

in a way its quite unfair to blame arsene for failing to live up to high expectations when he's the reason for those high expectations.

but enough is enough on the penny pinching. getting hammered by messi in 2010 or whenever it was is excusable if you're so destitute you have to put mikel silvestre out there. otoh he's had bucketloads to spend for at least 3 years and yet they're still tipping up at the nou camp with ****ing welbeck in the XI. hopeless.

I mean I guess.

Whose to say that if they get a new manager in they'll be allowed to spend from the board?

Imagine Arsene Wenger hadn't rejected Madrid when they approached him. We would have confirmed life on other planets by now because they would be coming to earth to be entertained by his team.

The only reason I'm even slightly Wenger Out is that it breaks my heart to see "fans" abuse him after every loss these days. He's a 67 year old divorced man who literally has nothing in his life besides Arsenal. He at least deserves respect.

yeah this is the thing, is it him or owner/board/gazidis, tough to be certain. but everything coming out of arsenal suggests its him. they had that chips keswick bloke in the paper a while ago saying he's got £100m but wont spend it, some other director saying they can and will buy any player other than messi & ronaldo, and wenger himself said a cpl days ago that gazidis/kroenke have never put restrictions on his transfer spending. i think it's him.

I mean Wenger's transfer stubbornness is tilting but lol at the wengerout crew. now and always

inb4 we lose to Norwich and I'll start spamming it

Hammond not in the 18. If that's Adkins realising he's crap rather than him being injured or suspended again then I may switch to the Adkins in camp

Could be him cover for them though, similar to the GOAT Fergie with the Glazers as soon as he's gone and they realise you have to spend in order to get to the CL they've spunked a 1/4 billion up the wall!

Reckon it might be the same case with Arsenal which will make Wenger look worse as well.

His other half is giving birth, Adkins out

So I guess this could well end up being my last ever home game. Having experienced so much joy at Goodison over the years (standing at the foot of a tree, getting second-hand reports as to how the Wimbledon game was going, then seeing delirious fans rain down from the branches as Stuart scored the winner to keep us from relegation on the final day will always be the highlight) it's going to be a solemn afternoon for me.

Don't miss out on the free money that's available in laying Everton today! Last chance you'll get for a while at least.

Wenger just really doesn't want to make BAD xfers. Or make xfers where he feels like he's over paying. So while arsenal haven't had many huge xfer busts, they've missed out on some really high quality talent because he didn't want to pay the going rate. Suarez was really the only player I've ever felt like he should have been **** it I'll pay whatever that they truly missed out on (not being results oriented here).

Youre going to over pay for EVERYONE now regardless.

Everyone is going to add on English club tax.
