I think so, unless there's a big win for Brighton.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger claims his commitment to the club helped secure the bank loans required to fund the Emirates Stadium.

Fans are set to protest this weekend after a disappointing season that has seen the Gunners' Premier League title challenge fade.

"When we built the stadium the banks demanded that I signed for five years," said the 66-year-old Frenchman.

"Do you want me to say how many clubs I turned down during that period?"

Construction began on the £390m Emirates Stadium in 2004, the year Wenger won the last of his three league titles with the club.

"The banks wanted the technical consistency to guarantee that we have a chance to pay them back," added Wenger, who has been in charge of the north Londoners since 1996.
blokes clearly not going anywhere. could get reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaalllllllly ugly if he signs an extension in the summer and they get off to a horrible start

Don't forget about City's late goal.

paying $100 to protest the steep ticket prices sounds like an expert move.

I thought this was really good http://www.newstatesman.com/politics...ional-disgrace

And it's true that it happens too many others and in every country too. Different groups and people are dehumanised and treated like their lives are not worth anything.

My last home game of the season today. I've shared a season ticket for a couple of years, and have been going the games regularly since around 1990. I won't be going next year as I no longer enjoy the experience of being surrounded by angry, frustrated idiots who yell abuse at our own players week in week out.

So I guess this could well end up being my last ever home game. Having experienced so much joy at Goodison over the years (standing at the foot of a tree, getting second-hand reports as to how the Wimbledon game was going, then seeing delirious fans rain down from the branches as Stuart scored the winner to keep us from relegation on the final day will always be the highlight) it's going to be a solemn afternoon for me.

Don't miss out on the free money that's available in laying Everton today! Last chance you'll get for a while at least.

You will be back mate, Martinez just needs to visit the Harley street hair clinic in the summer and the results will come rolling in next season and the boo's disappear

I just came across interview between Carragher and Martinez this week, actually very interesting.

Quote:
MARTINEZ: Yes, but that is game management. That is making certain decisions that you shouldn't throw those leads away. The modern trend now in football is to work on being very organised and hitting teams on the counter.
That is the easiest and most economical way of playing. You don't get hurt. I don't want to be like that.
As a manager, I will never look away from the style I want.

CARRAGHER: Do you not think you get better results playing like that?

MARTINEZ: Certainly, it is easier.

CARRAGHER: But why would you not do that then?

MARTINEZ: The level of your team will give you a certain level. You will never over-achieve, you will never win silverware. That is a choice. I respect every style.
