I think you misunderstand. It's impossible to get the ball off dembele so he's the best ktmwtb player.

Dembele's brother must have nightmares of playing 1 on 1 against his bro in the garden

Did we not have a Venky's fan here at some point? Going to Ewood Park tomorrow because **** back to back lunchtime kick offs and I want pub recommendations

How on earth are we only 1-0 up? xG must be through the roof.

My local randomly has the youth cup final on, citeh/chelski. Both teams in home kits, Chelsea's keeper in blue as well

Lukaku 52% dribble success

Hazard 60%

Dembele 92%

So no, nothing like every Belgian.

Nearly there TP, Joey Barton was very good from the bits I watched.

**** beard though.

One down, two to go. That win shouldn't have been as nerve-racking as it was.

Think there was an interview where Alli said he'd pick moussa first for 5 aside because it's impossible to get the ball off him.

Was definitely something that made me like him at fulham, I remember him completely trashing united in a game they ended up losing 3-2 (12-13 season iirc). I think that was the game I wondered if he belonged at a better club. Think we have our answer.

Struggling to think of too many players who are able to beat a player from a stationary position as well as Dembele does, obvious one being Messi.

Barton and Boyd were both excellent. Very pleasantly surprised with Barton this season, his place in the team of the year is well deserved. Agree on the beard though.

Pressure back on Brighton and Boro now.

Dembele being a really good player is hardly new loads of United fans wanted us to sign him when he was leaving Fulham for Spurs.
04-22-2016 , 06:56 PM
yeah every1 wanted him once they found out ducksauce was wondering if he should upgrade clubs (after that one game that like every1 itw was in awe of how much he dominated, when every media outlet was running stories about him moving up).

Wasn't dembele considered bad for his first couple of seasons at Spurs? He's really stepped up this season and I've always been a fan.
04-22-2016 , 07:13 PM
he was hit and miss. the stuff he is good at now he was good at then. i don't think we had a system that utilized him effectively. asking him to be either a be a true dm or creative passer isn't going to work out. last year for instance - playing him with mason or bentaleb wouldnt work.

Think that one went over your head a bit.

Maybe Martial's agent is getting paid in installments too
04-22-2016 , 10:38 PM
That fax machine trick you did with DDG might have cost a lot

Man what is Steve Kean up to?

pretty much what mw said. He was super polarizing among spurs fans. In one camp were the people who thought he was one of the best ITW at something spurs were crap at (meaningful box to box possession under pressure) and on the other side you had camp gimmewanna scorepoints. (Sidebar--in the great venn diagram of the world there is almost perfect overlap between camp gimmewanna and camp chadli.) Now to be fair, as mw said, Dembele was mismanaged and he didn't contribute as much a couple years ago as is now, but even in November a disturbing number of kooks still thought mason or bentaleb or wee tommy carroll should probably be playing over him. Total madness.

Spurs' MVP this year is Kane, because duh. And if somebody wants to make Toby co-MVP then go for it. But if you want to see the wheels come off Spurs then match them up against an competent aggro opponent and sit Dembele.
