Quite clearly, no keeper has sustainably made the mistakes pgame that Cech made today.
If you don't think it's variance you are implying that Cech can be expected to perform equivalently in every match through the season.
Why do you even watch sports?
Poster: "Did you see Coutinho's goal??"
PlasticElephant: "Not impressed, only goes in 7% of the time."
Poster: "Think Spurs can nick fourth this year?"
PlasticElephant: "Yawn. Who cares? Clearly variance if they do. Only have equity for 5.86th place."
Poster: "I'll never forget when City won the league at the death on goal differential!"
PlasticElephant: "I forgot immediately. Lol goal differential, tiebreaker should be xG - xGA differential. In fact, lol ties. Wouldn't be an issue if you just used City's 2.14 expected ppg versus United's 2.23. Lol at giving all three points for that win when the winning goal hits the post 13% of the time given median weather conditions. Not to mention that Dzeko strays offside in that spot 16% of the time, or that Kompany's composite defensive efficiency differential was like 126% of his career average......"
