What do people here think of Liverpool's Sakho?

I see a significant number of reds fans think he's their "best defender by far", which is quite confusing because apart from being willing to sacrifice his life to make a block, I see no positional awareness, no touch, no vision, poor reading of the game, inability to react to a bouncing ball with any degree of required accuracy, stick insect like posture, and a complete impostor.

Is that harsh? Anyone think he's the bee's knees?

Fascinating insights by the commentary team. Did you know that even though Shane Long loves to run around, he would not want to run home from stoke to Southampton?

Your assessment is spot on. Particularly the stick insect part.

Adkins finally gave one of the kids a start today, plays well then injured his hamstring, sigh

At work so missing the games , but I've been stepping it up recently flirting with a coworker so plan to carry that on in the spirit of this thread as I believe I have momentum.

Never been a fan of Sakho's positional awareness but he's well above average at organizing from behind (he looks clumsy on the ball but he's efficient), he's ok in one on ones and a beast in the air.

Did they end up drawing?

Probably because they're not aiming for promotion this season.

I don't mind Kilbane to be fair but the other two are just dreadful. They can't all be Neville or Carragher.

I quite like Barton and Adam*! Couldn't believe how good he was on five live the other week. Really interesting and gives you a view from a footballers view that isn't to protect his fellow players.

Lineker is good at what he does as well.

*what Adam?

Yeah. Really AIDS that it's gonna be a rematch if this ends 0-0.
