Lots of bad things happening in football but none worse than American owners/promoters that want a closed shop.

Same. But Aguero vs Villa does sound tempting!

Tinkerman great quotes in his press conference today trash talking the idea

Everton may yet get a triple gameweek towards the end of the season, depending on cup fixtures!

The premier league is the super league eventually, no need to change things

Yeah, a closed system Murican style pro league run by communists won't happen any time soon.

And I swear to god, if they make us change our name into the Bayern Lederhosens I'm probably done with football. Or I just change teams and support the Chelski Plastics from then on.

Midweek fixtures so far have had their own seperate gameweeks.
03-04-2016 , 12:41 PM
the 38 gameweeks are set in stone. Any matches that are postponed and moved to a later date will automatically result in a double gameweek for the teams involved. There will definitely be at least 10 teams with double gameweeks before the end of the season, and some (Everton certainly) will have either two doubles or a triple!

Dont think ive ever witnessed a triple game week before.

Aguero will most likely be rotated out of double gameweeks anyway, so best to use triple captain on the best striker in the league VS the ****test team in the league now, while you can, especially while at home.

Save the benchboost just incase for double gameweeks / last game of the season for a dramatic finish

Yikes, I always heard it called the EPL or BPL.

I always assumed BPL meant "British Premier League"..I just now figured out it must have meant the "Barclays Premier League".

Anyhoo, I call it the EPL..

City have just played two games in a week and Aguero wasn't rotated. If you think it's likely to happen next time, it's just as likely he'll be rested this weekend, no?
03-04-2016 , 01:48 PM
Depends on upcoming fixtures.

No reason to rest him this weekend. Nothing important due midweek or next weekend

Edit: He might get rested vs Norwich next weekend

17 year old Reece Oxford playing at the heart of the West Ham defence though, highly rated but one hell of a test tomorrow.
