English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league

I suppose Villa are not as "big a club" as Leeds were when relegated?

Leeds had a few good seasons before the drop, a few good years in the 70s I think but it looks like they have pretty much spent half their time outside the top flight. Championship level.

If anyone can be bothered, which team has the highest number of top flight appearances without winning it? They have had 73 attempts.

Incredibly bad. He miskicked it the wrong way twice. Then kicked it onto his own hand. Fell over twice and looked as if he was pissed.

I'm aware that it's not the first time I've banged on about this, but it's worth remembering that when Moyes took over at Everton we were in pretty much exactly the same spiral that Villa have been in for the past few seasons. That man saved my club!

Everton and Villa have always had a lot in common, and it'll be a shame to see them relegated.

mmkay. but they had just won the top division and then another iteration of the team had been in the CL semis

Nothing's been announced yet, but the first free week where it's possible is Gameweek 34 (starting Saturday 16th April) I think.

They did a poll among fans at the start of the season, asking them to give the team they liked most and hated most in the league. Bournemouth had us as their most hated and we had Bournemouth as our most liked.

Spurs odds on to win at West Ham, really?

will be a huge sweat. But I reckon you will get spoilered...English commentators don't give a **** whereas at least Hungarian commentators give out a warning that they are going to give some updates about the other games and those who want to watch it later shouldn't pay attention for a minute. I find that pretty great tbh...

Spurs have 28 points from their last 11 games, and only lost to the WOULD BE champions Leicester City.

Thread title should be changed to "Premier League Football 2015-16" for accuracy.

Not really, since the League Cup, FA Cup and lower divisions are discussed here as well.

Its almost as if this is a catchall for all football in England or something.
03-02-2016 , 09:25 AM
Hm, looks like Santi has taken to social media to reassure everyone he'll be back on April 1st.

Still pissed about the United game, but we've bounced back pretty well this season. Kind of think someone should kidnap Alexis' dogs until he stops coming deep into our own half to try to pick up the ball/stops playing **** in general.

Stopping him cutting in and clipping 5 km/h crosses to ****ing no-one like 10x a game would be decent

I get the impression the sixfour is dying for someone to discuss lower league football with/someone that can sit there quietly while he shouts about how awful Adkins is. BAIDS may even get a bit chirpy again as Wigan continue to do well.

Personally I'm thrilled that Adkins is at Sheffield United.

Also, I'm now that old that I'm more concerned about the anal violation that George Osborne is going to give me on March 16th than I am about tonight's results.

Your accuracy is about as good as Cameron Jerome's

Speaking of politics I swear I can't believe Donald Trump is actually In the running to become US president. Not sure what that says about the country. What the actual ****?

I've never had more than a passing curiosity for US politics, but I became pretty terrified when I saw one of Trump's speeches after the Paris attacks. As my daughter approaches adulthood I guess I'm becoming more anxious about the kind of world she's going to have to live in if people like him can have a legit shot for the most powerful / dangerous position on the planet.
