solution is to lose half the international calendar imo, goodbye pointless friendlies that no1 watches & streamline the qualification phase for the cups. sorry to any liechtensteiners who read this but i really dont want or need to watch your postmen play football ever again
having games on over xmas while loliga etc take a break must generate so much extra revenue for the PL, makes me suspect that the status quo will remain
You don't wanna watch the spaniards from the paella factory either tho
I dont think a winter break would be at Christmas. It would be sometime in January when it the perfect season for getting blackout drunk and eiffel towering tourists in Tenerife.
It seems like a mistake though. When it turns out that it doesnt make any difference there'll be one less excuse to use by people trying to keep their jobs.
So allegedly Baxter failed another drugs test. Would make a joke about them not possibly being performance enhancing but 2015 wouldn't let me borrow its jokes
aaaaaaand suspended. dunno what he'd need to do to be sacked given our track record
2 weeks off in Jan (keeping the Dec. schedule the same)
Losing FA cup replays - perhaps have the QF played at neutral grounds
Losing the League Cup altogether, or making it just for the FL (although I guess you'd have to get rid of the paint trophy if you did that)
Losing every single international friendly
Losing every single international qualifier and just having a ****off massive bracket tournament where every country was invited once every 4 years.
International qualifiers should be KO rounds only world wide. I know this is unrealistic but it surely would be awesome to see our side travel for days to play the first leg in Vanuatu.
In the midst of another lol QPR season which has seen 3 managers, too much karl henry, and lots of points dropped after the 80th minute, there has been some good news.
Some of you may remember Alejandro Faurlin, our central midfielder who was our best player in the first half of the 2011-2012 Premier League season before going down with an injury. He's torn his ACL three times in that time period, and many fans thought we were burning money on a memory when we re-signed him last year. He's been arguably our best player this season, and has been the one bright spot in an otherwise forgetful year.
Since I started following closely in 2010, every season has been either promotion or relegation, with the exception of the famous man city season. This is the first boring season, but I still enjoy following my team. I
I still lurk here and enjoyed the MS paints, even forwarding bobbo the one about him. He didn't understand how it was him.
