Are they not just all conveying the same obscure Spanish source? I think it's still pretty unlikely that he'll leave.

Yeah booked.

Just for clarity, we're betting on the winner only, if neither wins then it's a push, even if they roll off a top3 and one finishes 2nd.

What do fans think is a "fair" price for a ticket and how do they determine it?

He was talking about the momentum you get when you're knighted and the refs are too chicken to give decisions against Sir.

is this the point where Elrazor saves face by saying he was trolling all along and doesn't actually believe in momentum

Ah ok. How about this guy? Bit of a stats man, apparently.

so what he's saying he has no ****ing idea when the supposed momentum is gonna stop. Just like everyone else

49 consecutive games unbeaten in a division with other very good teams seems like momentum to me.

He doesn't say what momentum actually is or how it affects results.

You would think with all that cumulative momentum (I assume momentum is just adding more speed to an already fast moving train with each win) that literally no team ever put in a park would be able to stop them.

Not only that, but they should be winning each game by 4+ right?
02-16-2016 , 03:06 PM
He doesn't need to say how it affects results because it's obvious. Strong momentum improves results.

Your assumption could be wrong. Maybe games you're a strong favourite to win add little or nothing to momentum.

while we're making stuff up, maybe there's a critical mass of momentum which, once reached, means any further momentum gained actually has negative consequences. overmentum? inflectmetum?

Momentum = or =/= form?

That was another pundit word that always got me

Yeah pretty much the same thing when used in the context of: 'Brighton played well this weekend, it was because they're in form'
02-16-2016 , 03:54 PM
Momentum=form.

Some people are arguing previous (runs of positive or negative) results (or actions: e.g. winning a 25 stroke rally in tennis to break serve) do not affect future events.

I'm arguing they do.

Kodi's useless for me other than Operation Robocop. Used to be great but none of the streams/channels seem to work anymore.
