We still care because the reputation of our club was dragged through the mud, as a combination of the influence the sheer numbers of afc's fanbase garners, the london-centric/arsenal-centric media bringing the incident up at every available opportunity and of course arsene wenger using the incident for political gain and essentially orchestrating a fervour that is still burning to this day.

The crux of this matter is that if this had happened to any other club we wouldn't still be talking about it. Rory Delap/Marvin Robinson suffered equally horrific leg breaks playing for Stoke City yet I don't remember who broke Delap's leg and I don't even remember who we were playing when Robinson suffered his injury. These things happen to all clubs, sometimes they are terrible assaults and grudges are understandable. The incident between Stoke City and arsenal was a terrible accident and nothing more.

Why do Stoke supporters sing about it? There's still a lot of bitterness regarding the things I've mentioned, amongst other things, and I certainly don't agree with the song or the booing. Not because I think those are despicable actions but just simply because it's dumb. I've sadly seen awful behaviour at football matches and the booing of Ramsay/ the recent chant are neither yet the lemmings polluting the media are once again desecrating the reputation of my club over those things.

You can make reference to CFC and the long standing relationship between its supporters and the National Front, BM etc if it helps.
No, I see no relation between a bunch of poor white people from neglected areas voting for a racist political party mostly out of desperation and exasperation than true political ideologies aligning to that party, and a group of football supporters from that same city who are almost universally against all forms of racism, are not known as a racist group of supporters, and self-police to eliminate and punish those who use football as a platform to express racist views or commit racist acts.

Hands City the momentum, imo.
Doesn't cancel out the negative momentum from losing last weekend
