yeah fair point. I just meant he's done a decent job of humiliating himself at times this season, and it's his own lacklustre performance to blame to a large extent for us going after Mourinho so much. interesting question is if we were doing better, would we still go for Mourinho?

The EPL ends on May 15th.

Thanks to Champions, Europa, FA, the Crap League Cup, etc. Leicester will play less than HALF as many games as Spurs, Gooners and City.

Since they will be so much more rested, do any of the other three teams have a realistic chance to win the title? What does history say?
I think it's neither better or worse, provided you have a semi-decent fairly young squad. If Plop had won it that might have been some evidence, but they didn't.

I think the increased risk of injury is at least partially mitigated by the momentum gained from playing (and winning) lots of games, and if you lose you only have to wait a few days to try get back on track.

Also at this stage, what can Leicester do for 6 days between games? you can't really work on fitness, they know how they are going to play, etc. Plus I think players would rather be playing competitive games than training.

Plop must go full force in the EL right? I mean there is little to no chance of them getting into top4, maybe even top6... or will Klopp just go for the Mickey cup and rotate everywhere else?

What you should consider is that despite all the above, Arsenal are still basically neck and neck with Leicester, which should tell you something. Bear in mind that when they get tonked by Barca, they will just be in the FA cup and the League. If they avoid replays, they don't play any midweek games.

Spurs on the other hand have a decent shot at progressing in the EL and may a very gruelling Thursday/Sunday schedule.

The most recent (and probably only relevant) past experience of this was plops title run where they were in a similar situation regarding games. They almost managed to sustain it as they ran pretty good with injuries.

In short, it's definitely not sown up. 3 other teams have a realistic shot.

I don't think we would. The fact that he isn't our manager already kind of suggests as much.

Jesus I didn't realise Leicester were 5/2. It's lay everything before Arsenal beat them time.
02-10-2016 , 06:32 AM
Yeah some people are getting way ahead of themselves regarding Leicester. Plop had a much better chance and were closer to the finishing line and still ****ed it up, so yeah lay Leicester all day IMO especially at 5/2 lol

Pretty dumb reasoning. Much easier to have a long-term plan with £160m in the bank.
02-10-2016 , 07:03 AM
Leicester don't have Slippy G
02-10-2016 , 07:12 AM
Leicester also have a ridicolously easy schedule after the Arsenal game, if they win at emirates they should be solid favorites for the title.

You can refine the hell out of your opposition analysis and tactics. You make it sound like Leicester are at a disadvantage here.

Seen yesterday that Leicester's head of opposition scouting has joined Arsenal, not sure if that's straight away or at the end of the season.

He also mentioned the importance of a "semi-decent young squad", the most spursesque description ever.

Maybe the masters is in self-delusion.

Sunderland fans look like the utter bellends that they are, supporting Johnson after he was accused of that. Yeah innocent until proven guilty and all that but best being quiet when they don't know the full story.

Should be done for grooming mignolet aswell.

Not sure if you're talking about Leicester or Adam Johnson.

How old was the child in question? The law is the law but there is a huge difference between a child and a teenager a few weeks from her 16th birthday.

Nonetheless, he (or any man his age) shouldn't be trying to shag 15/16/17 year olds.

Someone needs to produce those Vines that were doing the rounds at the time.

From what I understand the pleading guilty to one count of sexual activity refers to a kiss.

So basically it's a case of Johnson now trying to prove that he didn't bone her.
