Zouma out for 6 months, ACL.

Derby's sacked Clement as well.

Just seen they've put Darren Wassall (who?) in charge for the rest of the season. Giving up on promotion early this year then.

It does seem like a bad decision overall, I know they're going through a winless streak but still.

They're 5 points off the top of the table, two wins. They let him spend about £20m this season (including about £5m last month).

According to the chairman, promotion wasn't the primary target, so maybe something has been going on behind the scenes.

Either way, they're never going to get promoted if they keep changing the manager as often as they do.

sacking Clement seems absolutely mindblowingly terrible unless it's for non-football reasons?

Meanwhile north of the wall, the sfa manage to **** up an 8 team draw.

If it was non-footballing reasons and he had won the last 7 rather than 0 from 7, he doesn't get sacked tho. Crazy decision.

Love the fake smile on the presenter followed by a big gulp.

The guy checking the hole as well, brilliant.

It's a terrible decision. It seems like the culmination of what has been stirring for a while at Derby. Their January business was terrible and in particular, the Nick Blackman signing seemed very much like a panic buy (£3m for a 26 year old who is out of contract in the summer and has looked like he might be a decent Championship forward for about 1 month of his life). Then there were the reports of the owner seeming to be interfering with first team affairs.

They might salvage something from the mess if they can make a good appointment and let him get on with it. They've apparently said that the number 2 is in charge for the rest of the season but I'd take that with a pinch of salt, as they also said that Clement would get the first season at least (paraphrasing). Nigel Pearson would be perfect for them - he got Leicester up when they were the moneybags of The Championship.

if this move somehow results in Pearson getting back into the premier league, I fully support it
02-08-2016 , 06:35 PM
I can't believe I blinked a 7 0 SB square and got no monies

Clement going straight to Bayern to become Carlo's assistant again.

one ostrich comment and you pledge your loyalty for life

btw superbowl:

Spoiler:
it was utter aids...the talk about Peyton shootin up some growth hormones...if you ask me he didn't get enough. Such a **** game entertainment wise.
I guess if you know the sport and love the defensive side of the game you came multiple times, but I was struggling to stay awake

Superbowl was indeed an indictment on the sport, real shame if that was anyone's first experience. Both the game and halftime, bleh. Last year's was fantastic plus it had left shark

02-09-2016 , 05:41 AM
Yeah I think cos I've watched it the past 5 years and almost completely understand the rules and most importantly my favored team won, it was kinda entertaining for me. Completely AIDS though if you're watching it without rooting for anyone.

mindfr is just a butthurt panthers ghw
02-09-2016 , 06:50 AM
I watched panthers games because they were entertaining (vs Seahawks and Cardinals)... Thought this would be a good one based on that alone and from what I understand Broncos were like the Chelsea of this season so naturally I went with the Panthers...

That's not a fair comparison at all.

I understand that most people who tune in for one game per year want to see a shootout, but this year was far more exciting than say, 2 years ago when Denver just got completely blown out and it was done before the half.

first game was the Pats-Seahawks game last year. Then I kind of watched redzone here and there and a couple of playoff games. So I got limited experience...

also found it surprising that the highest scoring teams in the season tend to lose the SB...1 out of 5(?), I think only the Saints won... are their defenses to blame? or just bad day at the office?
