Maybe JT was correct after all.

What does that graph tell us, apart from lol Mignolet?
02-08-2016 , 06:59 AM
That graph can't possibly be the best way of illustrating those statistics.

134 goals in 101 games since mig joined. 50, 48, 55(extrapolated) in his 3 seasons.

Even Reinas last two seasons where he started to look a little shakier were 40, 43.

An utterly baffling decision to award him this new contract.

****ing flamini, makes all the easy things look hard. he also never passes forward, pretty sure he would pass the ball back to the GK even when having a shooting opportunity around the box

fully understand why wenger is reintroducing le coq slowly but damn flamesey mf is so ****ing bad.

also kante was really really really good vs city
loved how city played delph to stop/double mahrez, took 3 mins for him to style all over them and create the opener

In a world where goalkeepers abilities are the same and shots on target have similar expectations of resulting in a goal the teams on the left of the regression line would be "running bad" and the teams on the right would be "running good".

We don't live in this world, so I'd not make much of it

looks like pool owners are ready to cave on the ticket price thing

oh boy. scousers are gonna start doing walkouts every time they want something.

Terrific article:

He’s made nine mistakes leading to goals this season, costing us 15 points in total. Without those mistakes, we’d be 2nd in the Premier League!

in for walkout on 22nd minute to protest mignolet

edit: for clarification, 22 references his shirt number rather than the number of pts he will have cost them this time next month
02-08-2016 , 10:26 AM
Mignolet thread locked. Damnit.
02-08-2016 , 10:31 AM
nvm can always go discuss sakho instead, o no wait that thread has also entered LOCKDOWN

So Mignolet has us 22 points worse off than OAFK? Gonna have to get OAFK an agent soon. Can I buy his rights?
02-08-2016 , 12:03 PM
i think that according to LATEST STATISTICS you're 15 pts worse off with migs than you would be if you had a keeper who makes 0 errors per career

Funny how long term, PDO for all teams ends up around 100 anyway

Seriously though, sure a great keeper will save you a few more shots, but looking at a team with a PDO of like 105-110... how can you possibly think that's true talent that won't regress?

I was gonna guess this is a reference of blatant mistakes he does per season.
