Looks like no Gary Neville for the opening weekend, his dad has died.

United's playing Club Brugge in CL qualifiers.
They're legit.

JD's preferred option

After the initial excitement of the early Depay signing and then three signings in two days in early july, this window really has turned to **** for United.

Indeed - I was utterly underwhelmed at the prospect of watching something with Colin Farrell in it, but it was amazing.

I enjoyed JD's Sergio Romero bloopers video. If he reproduces some of those errors this season he's going to become a sure-fire hit with this thread.

utds summer has been a disaster

Johnstone played in every pre-season game, and is actually quite highly rated. Romero on the other hand has been a backup at monaco and sampdoria in recent years. It would be pretty weird to just throw him in the deep end on opening day, probably not even speaking a word in english.

Didn't LvG pull some weird **** with GK's at Bayern? Like drop Butt for Kraft or something like that?

Pretty much. I saw somewhere our current net spend is ~10-15m. I'm sure we'll see Woody going full scattergun with the fax machine in the coming weeks, throwing out bids for every recognizable name out there.

LvG manhandling DDG could be the biggest lolbringer that brought lols for a while

Pellegrini gets a new contract, one year extension to 2017.
08-07-2015 , 07:04 AM
Ancelotti or Klöpp to succeed him?
08-07-2015 , 07:17 AM
Think it might just be to avoid constant speculation about his future. They'll still try for Pep if he dumps bayern next summer.

Yep, it's mental. Vidal made a move to Bayern, why aren't we in for him? Offering him more than Bayern. We've just got £850k p/w of the wage bill.

Glazers loving this summer though.

I'm going to assume the £850k p/w off the wage bill is not including what you will pay for Schwein, Schneiderlin, Romero, Depay and Darmian.

Not sure if the wage for Falcao was seen as a long term investment either.

Losing ddg and adm is kind of huge though.

feel like arse missed a trick by not breaking the bank this summer

885k, not including the new guys, who I assume will eat up between 5-600k out of that.

I always pictured his name to the tune of Bowie's Rebel Rebel.
