Bertie, I would be willing to take $100 on United to your $50

I'll do $500 then, to allow KDawg $100

So Phil Neville is the new assistant manager at Valencia. Wut?
06-28-2015 , 12:28 PM
What has he actually done to get such a position? Gormless springs to mind.

Own a non-league club with Peter Lim? Can't think of anything else.

Thats the connection there, I couldn't figure it out

Neville worked as a coach at Everton and Man U and IMO he haz more potential in becoming a decent coach than becoming a decent commentator.

So you are saying his coaching potential is greater than zero.

Hey Einstein,

Hope you're well.

The Petr Cech medical certificate above that you were referring to wasn't made by a spurs fan - DUCY?

Cordially,

Human Halo

quick psa - if anyone's in london and wants to get out of the smoke, or is in the midlands/north west and wants to go down there, get to virgin's website and book tickets, it's a tenner each way to more or less anywhere through until the end of august. i've grabbed there and back on opening day for £20 return, prob go and watch wimbledon
06-30-2015 , 12:18 PM
How do you just "go and watch Wimbledon"? Tickets are hard to get, no? This is of some concern to me, as i am indeed in London trying to get tickets to the grounds.
06-30-2015 , 12:30 PM
i went a few years ago so my info may be out of date,

what happens is a big queue forms outside the grounds in the morning and its first come first served. iirc i got there at about 8 am and comfortably got tickets. when it gets full they stop selling. some people turn up the night before and camp out.

centre court tickets are sold via ballot to members and idk how you'd get hold of one without a contact.

alternatively if you hang around late-ish people will be leaving and you'll get in to see some doubles.

I was told you need to be a member of the LTA to obtain tickets for the show courts.

Apparently money coming in for Nigel Pearson getting the boot.

Right on cue he gets the sack
