Does Martinez ever take responsibility?

It is always someone elses fault - an opposition player, the ref or linesman. Must be why he has won 11 of his last 50 PL games.

KDB moves the ball out of his feet to strike it so quickly. Amazing how good a player you can be with that ability alone.

This is a myth, they were happy to kick us off the park last time out.

Indeed, our lads tend to use the cup rounds for a mid-season break.

I kinda want to bet on Leicester to win the league, but I don't want to jinx them either

He must think he's managing the other club in the city.

Carrick and BFS close to return it seems. That's all I wanted to know, can't take much more of Felony in CM.

Hoopie, heard anything about possible opponents for the Hammers in their last game at Upton Park?

Thread on Celtic forum I use speculating it is us. I may be able to pay for IDKTS in person.

Jonathan Wilson hits the nail on the head in regards to Arsenal:

Quote:
Arsenal are still Arsenal, Arsenalling along with their heroic wins and their foolish defeats, accumulating an entirely Arsenal-like number of points. Project their current points per game to the end of the season and they’d get 73 points; last season they got 75, the season before that 79, before that 73, 70, 68, 75, 72. It just looks slightly more impressive this season because they’ve got a reliable goalkeeper and because everybody else is struggling.
01-28-2016 , 08:19 AM
Well Man Utd have got a more-than-reliable goalkeeper and everybody else is also struggling yet look at them

I didn't know we were planning anything beyond the heavy defeat to Manchester City on the last day of the season, which would be a fitting send off, but it is entirely possible.

Exactly, it's not like many other clubs haven't gotten much better or anything.

looool I just looked up this article and literally the paragraph after Arsenal is this:
Quote:
But there have been seasons before when giants have struggled and their flaws haven’t been exposed quite as readily as this. It may be that they’ve never been quite so flawed before, or not all so flawed at the same time. But the ability of the Premier League’s middle-classes to take advantage has also been enhanced.
Never change JD

ManUtd is superunlucky with all the Decisions Against them... speaking of, we've gotten a lot less notifications from JD in regards of those blatant referee riggings, must have nodded off during games

Not quite sure how to obtain tickets for the Capital One cup final at Wembley - have looked at the ManCity page but it sounds like you have to be a member of their club or something? Can anyone explain how I can get this (my son is crazy Man City and insists the ball was in last night).

I imagine the system used at City is similar to Utd. You pay a membership fee (£30 for UTD) and get a membership for that season, they'll send you out a package with a club card and other details including a membership number. As a member you can login to their site using the details you've been sent and apply for tickets.

For something like a cup final with United having a membership is pretty worthless in applying for ticket since the club has 55k season ticket holders who get priority and you'll never get an allocation that big but City is a small time club full of wankers so chances are far higher. GL.

It looks like this is the club membership page: http://beacityzen.mcfc.co.uk/

Normally being a member won't be enough on its own - season ticket holders get first dibs, then there is normally some sort of priority points allocation whereby those that have attended the most games get a ticket ahead of those with fewest.

The chancers are you are SOL and that if you want tickets you will need to pay for them with an enormous mark-up via a ticket agency or tout.

EDIT: each club gets approximately 31,500 tickets for the final and City appear to have 40,000 season ticket holders, so I'd not bother with membership and start exchanging sexual favours for money in order to get the cash for tickets.

Yeah, +1 on the two above. The good news is that it's only the League Cup so demand won't be quite as high as pretty much every other final.
01-28-2016 , 11:07 AM
lol at having to pay £30 for a plastic card.

I usually have to work Saturdays and watch spurs on DVR in the PM. Figures the one I have off we're playing ****ing colchester in FA cup. Get to see the potential in some lads I guess.
