If the Champions League and Europa League champions are from the same association ranked 1st–3rd and neither qualify for the Champions League through their domestic competition, the fourth-placed team will qualify for the Europa League instead.
There's a scenario where Chelsea win the CL and Liverpool/United win the EL, thereby shafting Tottenham once again

01-23-2016 , 05:46 PM
.....and then PLOP spunk another £100m and once again overtake Spurs as favourites to finish 5th, only for it all to go tits up by November.

Wonder if any of the big clubs will seriously look at Poch. I mean Pep can only go to 1 club, there is a possibility that 3 top jobs will become available this summer.

Colemanballs level quote from Adkins:

"Swindon couldn't break us down today apart from the goal they scored"

I just don't see how this is true lol

doubt Poch would want to move to a smaller non-cl club unless a massive warchest gets thrown in his direction

The way your man is doing he'll do well to make it to Valentine's Day.

FA Cup this weekend, if they are going to pull the trigger now is the time to do it.

If I was utd I'd be trying to get him in. Although TSO has penned a 6 page letter to the utd board begging for the job.

I've concluded that we need Sherwood back in charge of a prem lg club asap
01-23-2016 , 08:47 PM
Shergoat to united imo
01-23-2016 , 08:51 PM
I have no idea what will become of Sherwood. His ego is simply too large to drop down and manage at a League 1 level or whatever someone of his stature belongs. I can't see a PL club coming in for him. And I can't see him taking an assistant role at a PL club.

Perhaps full time hack pundit is the most reasonable landing spot?
01-23-2016 , 08:53 PM
I'd take that tbh, his insights would make MOTD much more fun
01-23-2016 , 09:01 PM
he'll end up in a championship gig

then we need a touch of rungood and he'll be back in the big time where he belongs
01-23-2016 , 09:17 PM
That has potential. Maybe a reunion for this twosome?
Spoiler:

Would be a nice combo when mixed with a little bit of this of course

Hard to believe City haven't won back to back Prem games in three months. Happy with our season so far, but think we could have capitalized more.

Wow that is hard to believe that city haven't registered back to back wins in so long. A win tomorrow is a must and we could really do with going on a run with some kinder fixtures coming up

Imo just keeping close to city (within 3 points) while cazorla/coquelin/sanchez/wilshere/welbeck were out and ozil missed a game. Most of them are back within two weeks.

Yeah, that's true as well.

The Delle Alli goal was absolutely phenomenal. Feel sorry for him that Jackie Wheelchair is going to come back with two games left and score another screamer to win GOTY for the third year in a row.
