it's gonna be even crazier next year with the new TV deal. should be in theory anyway.

Brilliant - first Plop fan on 606 thinks they will win the league next season

i think payet is likely to stay tbh. mw prolly right that no one is gonna pay 30 odd mil for him given his age, and if he adds 6 pts or w/e to wham each year for the next 4 years then it'll mean ham bring in something like £30m more in finishing position prize money alone.

then add in the reduced risk of (catastrophic) relegation, more chance at europa qualification, the fact that they've got to try to sell 60k odd seats every week = selling him for anything less than 30m would be a mug decision i reckon

mahrez different, his age = someone might decide to unleash a warchest bomb on the kp stadium

also anyone care to guess at how the rawkies managed to rationalise the fact that migs is horrible + the fact that klopp is always right + the fact that klopp just gave migs a new contract

[ ] klopp will sign a #1 keeper in the summer and migs will be the best backup in the league
[ ] klopp has set himself the challenge of making pool a top side while carrying a dodgy keeper
[ ] klopp had no say in the matter, it's the transfer committee's fault
[ ] klopp had no say in the matter, its FSG's fault
[ ] its fine because other positions need fixing first and he should concentrate on doing that
[ ] klopp plans to bring in his old goalkeeping coach from dortmund which will solve the problem
[ ] the contract has been extended so that liverpool can sell migs for £20m+ this summer
[ ] all of the above

note: the rawk thread on mignolet's extension was extremely negative, therefore the thread was LOCKED DOWN. a new thread full of positive comments has appeared in its place (its a lot shorter)

Definitely all of the above.

the thing is, west ham are never going to want to sell payet. but once united or whoever start flashing the cash he is gonna force their hand. if i am west ham i certainly demand 35m for him and maybe get talked down to 25m. that's assuming payet asks to leave and threatens to pull a modric.

que?

some angle i am missing here? navas started.

he has basically been MOTM so far. opening up all kinds of space for aguero/silva by staying wide and appearing to do **** all. but that is just what the casuals see. the game altering quarter-half spaces he creates have been largely unnoticed and unpraised to the dismay of the enlightened class of spectators such as myself.

Either:
1.) nice joke
2.) you really didn't notice navas was on since the beginning

both are perfectly fine and understandable

how can you not notice JESUS? he has been running real hard up and down the flank the whole game

I can't imagine Gold & Sullivan turning down £30m for anyone. They love money too much.

I only noticed Navas cos the commentator got momentarily excited thinking Demichelis had fouled someone just after he'd already been booked when it was actually Navas.
