Thanks for the warm welcome.

What is everyone's opinion on Leicester? Are they for real? Spurs completely dominated them in the league game a week ago, yet somehow lost 1-nil.

Vardy seems to have come down to Earth..I can't see them finishing in the Top 4..

Mindfckr is that official jack wheelchair signing a new contract couldn't find anything about it on sky sports website.

They had a very easy schedule the first third of the season, and now they are making up for it. No matter what, has to be one of the most amazing one season turnarounds ever.

I'm looking at Man City-Arsenal battling it out for 1-2.
Spurs-Man U battling it out for 3-4.
Leicester heading to Europa League.

Sunderland and Villa look primed for bottom two..think Swansea or Norwich goes down and Newcastle escapes again..

Think we'll escape with the toon as well but while models and markets don't see us going down, models and markets had us favourites for title so just hoping to get to 40ish points and move on. Probably watch the game on Sunday behind the sofa. Probably win because lol Arsenal and lol this season. Hopefully Leicester can get past Stoke tomorrow.

Oh right, as bizarre as it may sound I wouldn't be against jack getting an extension for that money. If he stays fit for a prolonged period he's the best lol England midfielder by far

Wilshere has more value to us than anyone else. With his injuries we can't sell him. Very glad that Wilshere and theo will play for us their entire careers it looks like.

Hey HumanHalo, where did your undertitle go?

Looks kinda awkward without any undertitle imo.

going to try to keep my posts shorter itt but here's my two øre on Eriksen: Anybody who doesn't put Eriksen in spurs best 11 is a lunatic. He's a calm creative matchwinner who can press. He has vision & technique & is a superb finisher when he has daylight. He's one of the only spurs who can deal with a parked bus. He makes his own time on the ball, he's constantly bailing out Dier, Rose, Chadli, others when they put him in insane no-win situations that he casually turns into a positive.

His game isn't naturally downhill and other than the occasional sweet meg he doesn't cruise by people 1v1, which is fine, not his game. Imo what stands between eriksen and the tiptop level is that his personality is almost never dialed to DESTROY for 90 minutes (or even for the 75 min that he's been getting lately before mysteriously coming off, which is why I've been wondering about secret injuries); the dude def has a way of floating into the wallpaper for an hour at a time. Lots of reasons for this, not all bad (e.g. structural reasons, like say Dier who disappears primarily when his good shape reroutes attacks), and lately Eriksen has been playing deeper and less scorepointy by design. For me Eriksen is neither slumping nor thriving, he's having a typical Eriksen year--much wow, some yawn, and clearly indispensable. I think the way he uses space ultimately pairs better with Son than Lamela, but Son's been hurt and I think Poch has done the right thing by giving Lamela a lot of leash this year, who continues to be an asset despite being more one-footed than captain ****ing ahab

RE Leicester: imo spurs didn't dominate the game last week, they dominated possession but did dick with it and it was clear for the whole second half that the last 15 minutes were headed towards a **** show. Credit to Leicester--sure they're running hot but they've been in spots all year where they can settle for good draws but they consistently let it ride and here we are. Compare to United, who are similarly running hotter than the big bang but are somehow less watchable than The Big Bang Theory, which is a boring ****ing show. United are ridiculous this year, anybody wants to bet on mun v spurs straight up final point total then bring it

Do people actually like the big bang theory. I wanted to gouge my eyes out and stab my ear drums with a sharp pencil after like 2 min of watching an episode.

God I want to smash Chelsea this weekend. Going to be super tilted if ars don't win.

Vardys heater has kind of come to an end sadly.

Mahrez as good as he's been has balls up 4 points for them recently otherwise they'd be clear which is pretty impressive. They'd be 11 clear of 5th place!

I think they can maintain it and pip Spurs to 4th.

It's going to be close as a couple of injuries and they could be screwed.

Haven't played great since SAF left to be fair. We should finish top 4. 2016 is the year of Rooney - until the euros start!

It's a shame that Jose isn't there as that would add extra lols to the Chelsea win.

Must admit I like it. Sheldon is hilarious and plays the part perfectly.

Sharp post.

I admittedly only saw highlights of the 1-nil loss, but looking at the stat sheet (possession/shots/etc.) it seemed like they did dominate the game..though statistics have been known to lie.

As I mentioned earlier, as a very green observer (what I may lack in experience, I try to make up for in enthusiasm) it appears that Eriksen is the backbone of the team. Vertonghen similar on defense..I rarely see either make any major mistakes from the games I have watched. Both seem to be solid and rarely, if ever, hurt the team

The ones that seem to bring about nervous-time are Alderweireld who can be spectacular on corner kicks, but have seen him get burned more than a few times. Danny Rose who seems talented but can play too reckless, similar to Lamela, minus the goal scoring capabilities. Dier another one..very inconsistent. It seems like Kyle Walker who I know has his detractors out there in Spursyland, but the games I have seen he seems pretty solid, athletic, with good speed.

I don't know much about Tom Carroll, other than watching him play just a couple of games, but he looks like he can be a future star. Being such a young team (perhaps the youngest in the league?) it bodes well for the future for Spurs fans.

Right now I would like to see Sonny get some more playing time in Premier League games like he has in other games..Spurs seem to have several this season with the "goal scoring mentality", along with Alli, Lamela, and of course Harrykaneheisoneofourown.

I have the same opinion about that show. I can see why it got popular tho as many other **** sitcoms did as well...

Felt the same at first but then it kind of grew on me. It's not great or anything, but it's certainly not as bad as most american sitcoms. At least the übernerd with a way too hot GF is better than the standard fat lazy husband with a way too hot wife.

It's my custom under title. No under title and no avatar looks weird - 2+2er eyebooger has that combo.

Big Bang is wank as are most recent american sitcoms.

I was procrastinating a few weeks ago and rewatched somebody's top-20 list of Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes; it can be hit and miss but when Curb is clicking there is not much that makes me lol harder. (But that said I know people who imo have good tv taste that can't watch it just because Larry is too stressful for them.)

HH are you and hoya really internet enemies or are you just flirting? Also I agree with you about H8ful8 (I need to see it again but first impression was it was a long way from vintage Tarantino).
01-22-2016 , 05:40 PM
big bang theory would probably be watchable if it wasn't for all the idiotic stereotypes, racism, sexism and unfunny jokes.
01-22-2016 , 05:41 PM
So if it was a different show then?
01-22-2016 , 05:43 PM
i liked big bang until someone pointed out laughing track to me (no idea how i didnt realise it when i was watching) but my god....literally every other second. Its so over the top and forced just fk off. Its all i can focus on and it tilts me to no end

p.s ive lost my 7th phone other day in 8 months being in phils. using woat phone. Wonder what signature it will give me
