Re: English Football 2015/16
Gomez has made a strong case to be left back for Liverpool, Moreno is not exactly the hardest first choice to displace.
I can definitely see him starting against Stoke.
I hope we get to see Ibe start but I can see Rodgers leaving him on the bench and starting Lallana Benteke Firmino as the front 3.

Definitely, but that's more an indictment of how weak we are in the middle of the park. That said, he would appear to complement Bentaleb very well. Strong, box-to-box type with the ability to beat players and move the ball forwards.
He will definitely be pushing Mason pretty hard, so how many games he gets depends on if we sign someone specifically for Mason's spot.

No one has ever questioned Walker's contribution in the opponents half.

Friendlies might be an excuse for putting less effort in, not for making stupid fouls and being caught out of position.
it's pretty obvious part of the reasons for playing friendlies is to assess players.

Reason: It's kind of interesting Spurs will have only played three before the start of the season.

Sneak preview, with not even half the picks in we already have 9 different teams selected and 2 people on opposing sides of the same game. #deadmoney

He should be sacked just for considering it.

Re: English Football 2015/16
Angel Di Maria averaged a goal or an assist every 126 minutes last season in the league.
In comparison, Sanchez had a goal or assist every 123, Fabregas every 137 minutes, Silva every 140 Hazard every 147 and Cazorla every 166.

Re: English Football 2015/16
Lovren has a chance of being better this time around, with Milner replacing Gerrard and possibly Gomez replacing Moreno the team will be a lot more solid and he will get more protection.

In theory but Milner's a guy who hasn't played as a regular CM for years and Gomez is an 18 year old who's never played in the Prem.
It's not like we played anyone of note pre season either to get an idea of how it might work.

That's because he had a solid start. Had bad form them couldn't get a game so maintained his that good figure.
Also everyone should get involved with LMS. Best game IMO
