Must be hard to rationalize making the trip to London to watch this team "perform" away from home

Same... of all the criticism of smartphones, "clumsy and of limited use" is not one that I think applies. If my dad and grandparents get it, it can't be that hard
LÖL at thinking I'm not getting it. I'm the one who continuously teaches you techy tips and tricks. Remember when you couldn't figure out how to prevent Google from redirecting you to a different top level domain than the one you entered into your browser, and you came running to your resident lolold for advice? Because I sure as hell do. One would like to think that a generation that grew up never knowing a world without ubiquitous intertubes would be more tech savvy than one's lolold self, but alas the opposite is the case.

I "get" smartphones. I just choose not to own one.

Couldn't make it at Bayern, couldn't even make it at Scheiße, what did you expect? Sunderland are lucky we have shirts upon shirts in our vaults and cba negotiating for a few more for a player like him. Had he been at another club, Sunderland would have had to pay the EPLÖL premium of at least 15m.

I guess it depends on how good you are at watching films/tv (I'm not good). Have had the same sense before, where I enjoyed XXX, but then after reading a bunch of stuff came to realize that there were ton of plot holes etc.

But this doesn't change that I was entertained when watching it the first time.

SN,
we don't deny that you probably have valid reasons for not having a smart phone. We all simply know that we get a lot of enjoyment out of it, and it was pretty hard for us to realize this before we had one ourselves. There are a ton of crappy apps, but here are also a lot of good stuff there.

/off topic

Nice to see Eriksen "back"!

Re: English Football 2015-16

Hah! Those Red Letter Media reviews are the nuts. Had forgotten about them. Will watch them again tonight.

I know there are good apps. It's a weighing the pros and cons thing, though. I can do without them, and in return have a tiny phone on me that is a phone and nothing more.

Just today on my afternoon walk I overheard someone saying something like " [...] yeah I did install it, but after that my phone ran incredibly slowly. [...] "

WTF at a ****ing phone running "slowly". It's a ****ing phone.

Anyways, and again: LEGGOO EVERTON!!!

i'm not sure you can talk point to phones running slowly and laugh. these are all capabilities your phone couldn't even attempt to do. getting as far as "slow" for a smart phone would be like moving from the 20th to the 21st century for you.

Re: English Football 2015-16

You're misunderstanding me. I'm not saying smart phones are objectively worse (or rather less capable from a pure technical POV) than mine. Come on man, that should be obvious. I'm saying that, to me, a phone that doesn't have the capability to run slowly is superior to one that can.

Re: English Football 2015-16

Is kodi the same as tvmc/phoenix?

Think I saw someone moan earlier about internet being too ****....phoenix allows you to pause and buffer I think...so you can be live...or 15 mins behind ... But your internet can cope with it

Re: English Football 2015-16

Kodi used to be called XBMC (from Xbox Media Center). It outgrew its Xbox roots, hence the name change. Phoenix is an addon you can install into Kodi.
