Last time we won at Stoke was nearly 6 years ago...still hoping we can nick the 3pts somehow- but they have a better squad then ever now.

arse fans on top of the bitching per injury table

Would be interesting to see how teams compare in terms of "key injuries" I guess it would be a bit difficult to convert it into stats and rate such injuries.

Of the top of my head United ran like aids regarding their defenders, especially FBs, Arsenal with midfielders, Plop with attackers and now looking like they are doing hamstrings all over the place...Spuds while having a lot of injuries the key players weren't really affected or did I forget some injuries from the beginning of the season?

Quite, he's a real menace, whether attacking or defending: http://www.zideo.nl/playzideo/6b3453556f46706f

Are you implying Spurs players let him roam free in the box rather than taking a punch to the face?

They're one of these clubs with a loaded owner who wants a piece of tbtvditw as soon as possible, and is prepared to throw obscene amounts money at it to get there (see Bournemouth, Leicester etc). Near the bottom of the Championship is no good to them.

Steve Cotterill always struck me as a bit of a weirdo so Pearson might be a good fit there.
Cotterill is nowhere near Pearson levels of weirdness, but he is a bit eccentric. He did a fantastic a job at Burnley, we had 8 players on the books and were totally skint when he came in. He stablilised us in the Championship and brought in the core of the squad that the two-faced bastard got us promoted with (including bargain of the century Michael Duff for Ł35k and Gary Cahill on loan). The football was pretty dire at times though.

I'm implying that he's a ****. However, if you are less brave than Matthew Upson, you probably want to have a long, hard look at yourself.

I had a few really good moments with Sir Alex. It’s a big honour to talk to Sir Alex. For a manager it’s nearly the best thing you can do, to sit there and listen. I needed 10 minutes to understand what he was saying and then it was OK.

Maybe he is the greatest ever, the John Lennon of football or something like this. From my side there is a big amount of respect. What he did in his life as a manager is not easy for someone else to do it.

If he keeps the current run of results going and throws in comments like that along the way he's going to end up about as popular as Maggie Thatcher on Merseyside.

yeah, Kane, Toby, and Vert have been healthy and they're the guys who aren't immediately replaceable (tho Wimmer has looked good at CB in limited minutes). Most of our injuries have been in MF where we're supposedly deep so I guess you can look at that as luck or as the luxury of a decent bench. Dier prob belongs in this category too.

Dembele has been hurt and that is very very bad for us. Sonny got hurt when he was a confident new guy playing great and about to entrench himself in the 11, he's never really recovered. Eriksen had a knock early in the year; imo it's possible something's still wrong with him and it's being kept quiet.

Bentaleb and Mason and Townsend have been hurt a lot and although these were worth it because imo better people took their place, Bentaleb especially is a young unknown quantity and the injury sucked for his development. I guess Clinton N'Jie is in this group.

Chadli has been hurt which for me is one of the top twenty reasons we're challenging for top 4

Cheers for that! Lamela finally playing like a professional footballer must be inside the top 20 as well. Regarding Eriksen he is a shadow of himself lately...maybe just needs some confidence back or you are right and he is still carrying an injury.

They'll soon be quiet tho

Tbf, it would be hilarious if you lost to us
01-15-2016 , 01:10 PM
The only hilarity on show will be you getting outclassed by our injury ravaged side. I'd almost be inclined to throw our Exeter side out again just to highlight how dross you are.
