Well could play walcott central and rest Giroud. Hard to make a case for sitting Giroud right now though to do that

Hughes said in his press conference today that he's likely to miss this weekend as well.

Aaron Ramsey Can't Stop Killing Famous People

Yesterday, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey scored in a 3-3 draw with Liverpool. This morning, the world learned that Alan Rickman—one of the greatest working actors, world-famous for roles like Hans Gruber, Severus Snape, and the Sheriff of Nottingham—was dead at 69. His cause of death: Aaron Ramsey, maybe.

The death certificate will list cancer, but that doesn’t mean Ramsey didn’t play a role, perhaps. There’s this theory Out There that Ramsey, an all-action midfielder with a curiously sharp nose for goal, is cursed. The main evidence for this is that Ramsey, a Welshman, is very good at soccer, and it is indeed possible to count every very good Welsh soccer player in the history of the sport up to and including Ramsey on Jason Pierre-Paul’s right hand. Being a very good soccer player of course isn’t easy. It demands sacrifice. For a Welshman, it demands grave sacrifice indeed: Ramsey goals coincide with the death of one of mankind’s rich and famous.

This may sound like so much poppycock to the motherless nonbelievers among us, but examine the evidence. Ramsey scored yesterday; Alan Rickman died today. Ramsey scored last Saturday; David Bowie died Sunday. Look for yourself:

Aaron Ramsey curse is back. pic.twitter.com/y1RX9CD8qn

Another scholar has an even more exhaustive accounting of this curse, noting occurrences where Ramsey goals precede the deaths of greats like Robin Williams, Paul Walker, Ken Norton, H.R. Giger, and more.

Ramsey has scored other goals, yes, and other famous people like, say, Michael Jackson, have died in the summer, when Arsenal aren’t playing. These are valid-seeming points, but there are people Out There who would posit that this is what makes the Curse of Aaron Ramsey so fraught. There’s no telling when or where the curse will strike. If Ramsey knew that every goal he scored would lead to death, it’d be a simple matter to play all the time and never score, like Jesús Navas.

It will certainly be interesting to see what wenger does when alexis returns, would be incredibly harsh to drop Cambell now.

Panathinaikos v PAS Giannina looks fishy. Over 2.5 opened at 2.0 this morning and at HT were 1.89 with the game 0-0 and only 1 shot on target.

Interesting to see if goals are scored 2nd half.

Campbell stepping up is a dream for Arsenal. He'll keep his place and once he regresses, Alexis will come back in and will try even harder because he now knows that there is genuine competition for his place.

Off topic but Seb Coe is one dodgy looking character. I'd love to see him be exposed as the Sepp Blatter of athletics.

Are you seriously suggesting that he is going to keep alexis out of the team? Hahahahahaha

I don't think that Wenger will insta drop Campbell due to player morale and at the same time not rush Sanchez back. Campbell will inevitably regress and Sanchez should be 100% ready when he does.

MF players can and will be rested at last, while the future of Chamberlain looks pretty dodgy given his performances this season, and if a genuine goal scorer eventually arrives it might prove Walcott's undoing (whose finishing was again woeful last night).

Time to stick Danny Ward in for the rest of the season and give him a chance. Zero reason to bring him back otherwise as he was progressing really well at Aberdeen. If mig is our keeper for the next 5 years then it's gg hopes and dreams

Didnt Mignolet just sign a new 5year deal? That's not indicating Klopp is displeased with him

Theo didn't have any clear chances yesterday and in fairness to him his finishing(quite underrated imo)along with his pace are his main qualities. On current form though its Theo that should take his place on the bench.

Not signed yet.

The future of Chamberlain is fine if he's happy being the third option in basically every position in the front 5. We always have a ton of injuries, we need someone like that. If he doesn't get better it sucks, but it's not like we couldn't use a good english squad player. I feel the same way about Chambers.

Also, remember how long it took for theo to get it from a mental perspective.

It would be SO PLOP to shelve a £12.5m contract they had lined up based on a couple of mistakes.

Chambers is still finding his position and Ox already on his most natural one where he can use his pace (which is arguably his only attribute)...also after the 1st Plop goal yesterday I'm still not sure if Walcott is indeed quite getting it...

Does anyone have a list of celebs killed by Ramsey? Must be double figures now

I remember being at my prom ball the night M.Jackson passed away and that was the last day of june and I highly doubt Ramsey scored a goal for Wales in the quarter finals of a Euro/World cup which is the only reason he could be playing in late june
01-14-2016 , 06:24 PM
Maybe he had a Fanny-type weekend kickabout and scored...we'll never know
