So sick to drop 2 points like that, very entertaining game for the neutral though. Our midfield was all over the place throughout the game. While it's easy to criticise Flamini, I feel Ramsey and his lack of discipline to hold his position is something that doesn't be highlighted enough. While he's obviously a talented player he lacks any tactical awareness imo and when everyone's fit I see wenger deploying him on the right again. Cant praise giroud enough tonight he was excellent. It's the other way, 5 minutes from trolling you. Decent watch, think your number 5 should have been sent off with a second yellow but it was a smart foul on Costa off the ball and it seemed like the ref couldn't follow non ball actions even though he saw it. He just didn't realise the implications of that foul on edge of box. Pulis subbed him immediately.

This is how a football game should look like. JK the defending was non existent, but a really entertaining game overall. Pretty glad we took the point after being down 2x and scoring 100% of our shots in the 1st half. Fantastic night given City dropped points...GJ EVERTONIANS!

Also I have a question for Spuds fans....what does Ranieri's dick taste like?

unfortunately I didn't see the game - but Pulis in his post match interview agrees pretty much with this

City fought off competition from across Europe last summer to bring the Belgium international, last season's Bundesliga Player of the Year, to the Etihad Stadium in a Ł54.5m deal from Wolfsburg - the second highest transfer fee paid by a British football club.

However, according to his agent, De Bruyne was on the brink of remaining in Germany, with only Bayern's unwillingness to match Wolfsburg's valuation for the 24-year-old preventing the move.

"Kevin's heart was beating for the Bundesliga, where he broke through at Bremen and became a star at Wolfsburg," De Koster told SportFootMagazine.

"I'm convinced he would have played for Bayern if they had been able to pay the asking price.

"We reached a personal agreement with Bayern after two meetings. The deal collapsed on the asking price.

"I think that Bayern wanted to pay 50m euros, but not a euro more."

De Bruyne has been a revelation since making the move to England, scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances for City and making eight assists in the Premier League - second only behind Mesut Ozil.

And De Koster believes his client's performances on the pitch show he is happy and has adapted to life at City.

"In the end City won the race and Kevin is super happy with his move," he added. "He adapted fast on and off the pitch."

Dem Bayern shirts not looking so shiny these days.
You do realize (most likely you don't because you're LÖLbandit) that the player had agreed to play for us for whatever amount of shirts we were willing to hang into his closet, don't you?

Wolfsburg aren't interested in our shirts, unfortunately. And we aren't interested in overpaying for players like EPLÖL clubs are.

Apparently arsenal won the xg vs pool. Couldn't watch the match but sounded like pool played better? Guess they took a ton of low ev shots and arsenal had better quality chances?

Spuds really unlucky tonight - if they ever figure out how to pass around a defense (and considering the age of their squad it seems imminent) they're gonna start running away with games on a regular basis.

Basically, but it was a pretty even game and a fair result.

Klopp seemed to be pushing buttons with the subs btw, but it worked out I guess.

Ox needs to be taken behind a barn or just sold imo, I don't think I can take much of him anymore

Oh well, let the headlines read: "Lucky Spurs thoroughly outplay Leicester to earn a replay"

Rainieri's horseshoe faltering. This is a good result for us in a Leicester Spurs race in a vacuum. We can better cope with fixture congestion than they can. Of course it is best for everyone else in the top 6.

On the other hand, Leicester managed 4 shots on target over the 2 PL games. Think we were good for the win tonight, although agree the away game was closer.

How many runners left after day 1? Must've been quite a decimation

We were better the first part of the first half and the second part of the second half.

Did Arsenal play a strong side in the FA cup? Your lot run out of gas in the last 20 minutes and we scored through atrittion.

The problem wasn't as much sitting in and discipline today, it was no one in mf to transition defense to attack. Giroud did amazing because of this, but when your striker has more touches than your Dm it's a big ****ing problem

Basically. Pool had a lot of energy but were a mess at the back and took a ton of long shots out of frustration, especially Moreno

Pretty strong side because we had pl opposition. Ramsey and ozil didn't start, ozil the only one beside mertesacker to not play at all I believe?

Klopps touchline celebration after EVERY goal is boring and annoying.

Also did he do the 'bundesliga tradition' to the fans after the game or did he really do a David Moyes vs Westbrom?

Are Chelsea players still passing that mask around?

I love how, when there's nothing to celebrate at your own club, you resort to revelling in your rivals making a big signing. You're like Valenzuela, really. I should make you a fapping EPLÖL avatar. Or would you prefer a Europa League one?

I agree but that's what Ramsey should be doing more often instead of constantly being ahead of the ball all the time. Hopefully this Elneny guy can basically replace what arteta does/did while also being able to cover ground which Arteta most certainly can't do now.
