he is the backup cb, featured in preseason friendlies, did well enough- still a bit rash in some challenges esp inside the pen box. Seems like a more than decent 3rd choice, but wenger would be crazy to break the Mert-Kos partnership

crazy to break the partnership? I thought Per.Mert was one of the biggest defensive problems for arsenal being so slow for the high line? Thought that was the whole reason they signed this guy?

This we'll see Gabriel-Kos in some games and this year if Kos' achilles are falling out again we now actually have somebody to deputise. He'll get plenty of game time.

Expect Gabriel chambers to be our cb cup defenders. Arsene has a lot of options. Will be interesting if he's able to keep everyone happy. I have to imagine Sanchez gets to rest more often this season? Then again the dude is a physical freak and seems to want to play every minute of every game so Ya.

What was the out come of that with yourself and him? I posted the other day when he asked if it was still on but I couldn't find any "booked" action.
