I agree with OAFK here. It seemed like a horrendous dive. Commentators kept acting like it was a pen or debatable, but I haven't seen what makes it a pen after like 6 viewings from 2 angles.

It's a stupid tackle and his trailing knee clipped his heel. He goes down, ref gives it. No issue there with me.

Delaney had no business going to ground, only bad things could have come from it.

It wasn't even that slight, his ankle got hit which would have knocked him off balance to prevent him from crossing the ball the way he wanted to so he went down. Maybe it was enough to knock him down on its own, either way it would have affected his ability to do what he wanted with the ball and the defender was an idiot for sliding into him.

He was about to strike the ball so he wasn't at his best balance and then he got hit, probably not enough to knock him over, but enough to impact his pass across the box and if you think he was looking for contact I find that hard to believe since the guy was fully behind him

Which commentators?

Ones on my stream immediately called it a dive on looking at the replay.

legs touch way more than that in standard situations and never get given a pen or players go down. Its such an obvious flaw (but one hard to fix, maybe impossible, but its a dive)

Refs have waved away so many more blatant pens than that over the last two seasons.

There was a slight nano contact and he has exaggerated it massively, its clear dive and anything else is pure crazy talk.

OAFK, I've seen worse decisions made. That isn't that bad, you can clearly see he got clipped. Ref made the call. Delaney is the idiot here.

We are gonna miss our attacking threat from our FBs today. Darmian and Rojo just ain't gonna cut it.
