So allegedly Baxter failed another drugs test. Would make a joke about them not possibly being performance enhancing but 2015 wouldn't let me borrow its jokes

Depends on what type of relationships you are looking for. Short term hookups, medium term dating, or long term serious relationships. Tinder is good for short and medium term but likely not long term.

Hinge likely will give you better quality interaction as it only allows you to see Ppl you have mutual friends with. Online dating sites will also likely be better of short term relationships aren't your goal.

random iphone-related query:

Is it possible to remove certain specific words from your predictive dictionary?

Every time I begin to type a certain sequence of letters in a message, my smartarse phone attempts to auto-complete to the email address of an old contact. I'd like to remove this suggestion (and it'd be handy to review all the other suggestions my phone has stored too), but the only option I'm able to find is an all-or-nothing one to "reset keyboard dictionary" which would cause me to lose my phone's entire memory of personalised word suggestions, some of which are occasionally helpful. I'll go ahead and do that if it's the only option, but figured I'd ask some of you more tech-savvy chaps first.

I know on android device you just have to click then hold any predictive text you want to delete.....give it a try.

Have you got that set up as a keyboard short cut?
02-18-2016 , 02:21 PM
not knowingly, lol. I literally typed the guy's email address one time in a single text conversation to confirm I had his correct address. Now every time I type the first 3 characters of his email address it suggests completing to the full email, even though I've no intention of ever typing that email address.

Say his email is ZOOMPIG@gmail.com. Every time I type the word ZOO (admittedly not often but still) it tries to make me type ZOOMPIG@gmail.com, and I want it to stop doing that.

How can I see my keyboard shortcuts? I suck at this.

Settings > General > keyboard > text replacements.

It's a good trick to play on someone fwiw.

My mum has an iphone and only ever communicates in single-word texts (ie she just replies "OK" "YES" or "NO" because 99% of her incoming texts are from me and the rest of the family asking her to run errands for us or babysit the grandkids). I now plan to gain access to her phone and replace YES with NO and vice versa. Perhaps also replace OK with OSTRICH for added wtf factor.

Swapping yes and no could lead to some very serious carp. I'd replace each with something more in line with your ostrich idea.

fair point, random nonsense is the way to proceed.

I get my main emails by typing @@ or @@@. Is nice instead of typing the whole thing.
