He seems a bit like Lukaku to me in that 95% of the game he looks terrible and then in the other 5% he scores

From memory, I don't think he's struck a brace for LFC so far. I agree that that's the way it looks, though.

I already alerted the thread to our title challenge prior to our demolition job on Swansea. Old news.

Consty anything "interesting" for the Greek cup today?

Benteke is a goal machine and 10x better than Lukaku

Just having a quick look and actually there's been a huge move on Ergotelis' opponents Panaitolikos in the match odds market, but that may not indicate anything other than Ergotelis have put out the youth team or something. Not really enough money in the markets to judge anything yet really.

Pity, I was so ready this time

Incoming betting scandal FTW. Might have learned from the best for that matter, Italoly.

iirc, quite a lot of fans didnt want him right? changing peoples minds?
His overall game has been underwhelming so far. He can clearly hold the ball up but his movement hasn't been great. He scores goals though and that's what he's there for.

It'll be interesting to see what Klopp does with him as both him and Sturridge reach full fitness.

Trying to figure out how to get tickets for Man City vs Swansea on the 12th. Does anyone have suggestions for a clueless North American as to the best way to do this?

Gerrard says Sturridge only plays when fully fit, so he must be at full fitness

I think based on current form Sturridge gets the nod over Benteke

Alternatively, in order to accommodate them both, Klopp might decide to use Sturridge as a wide man as part of a 3 up front with Coutinho/Firminho joining the attack

There has been loads of discussion about this since Klopp came out and said that. Equally discussion of Sanchez and wenger saying he entered the red zone etc

From the 30-40 ex pros i've heard discuss it over various platforms, every single one of them says realistically you can't be 100% fully fit and some have said that it might just be a mind issue with Sturridge.

Supposedly the meds/phyiso etc all do test and he's fit all the time and no where near this so called red zone.

Based on everything I've heard, I reckon Klopps just told him to stop being a pussy with his broken finger nails and get on with it.
