Lamela has been good this season, and MoM against City, however I don't think he has turned it around, I think Son has.
Chadli-Eriksen-Lamela as a 3 have lots of technical ability, but they are never going to hurt you with pace, and with Kane up top it's simple to suffocate the space in front of the back 4. However, Son's pace and movement helps to create space in front of the back 4, and I think Lamela is the key beneficiary as the opposition don't want to leave Eriksen and Kane unattended either.
With Alli/Mason making runs from deep positions, and N'jie as an option from the bench, it makes Spurs really difficult to defend against due to the variety of options in attack.
