Rodgers 2/1 to be the next PL manager to go
09-20-2015 , 02:13 PM
I bankered Plop today. Emotional hedging ftw.

Villa
Everton (A)
Spurs (A)
Southampton
Chelsea (A)

It's hard to see him lasting past those five games.

We are going to be in the relegation places by the end of that run.

If they do sack him they may as well wait until the next Intl break

Nah if they want rid of him they should just do it and aim to recruit by the end of the break. The last thing they want to do is mentally decide they're getting rid of him only for Plop to win a couple with him still in charge.

Brndn seem like the clickiest of button clickers in the EPL right now, would be quite the shame if Plop cut their losses. Please just let him box a couple of points and stay for a while

If Brandon gets the sack do you think he'll be managing in the PL again by the start of next season?
09-20-2015 , 03:37 PM
poor fella was a slip away from a 7 year contract extension at pool for megabux

Yes, somebody will take a punt on him.

Lovren playing another minute this season has to be an insta sacking, like Henry has a lever that drops Brendan from the dugout into a pit if he even has him do stretches.

it's quite a fall but I don't see how anyone would see him as a saviour.

I'd guess he'd end up in the Championship with a good side
09-20-2015 , 04:04 PM
he could replace mcclaren
09-20-2015 , 04:08 PM
given how fickle the owners are in general, plus taking added pressure from TBLITW TV money, I would imagine a bad run can lead to some surprising sackings this season. A couple of bad games and the managers will be told to pack their **** cause we need the next one to rungood shortterm... short answer, yes he will manage an EPL team
09-20-2015 , 04:10 PM
I doubt many clubs could afford Rodgers, his contract features some hefty teeth whitening / spray tan allowances afaik
09-20-2015 , 04:14 PM
He can take over Real Sociedad

I think that is the obvious suggestion. Whether Brent is capable of swallowing Mike Ashley's cock custard on a daily basis and then pretending to the media that it tastes lovely has to be factored into the equation though.

If he had won the league I dare say the man himself wouldn't be booed.

We've got Arsenal/Everton/City in 3/4 games so to get 6/6 from Pool/Southampton is a great return. Not a fan of Carrick/Schneiderline CM need either Herrera/Schweinsteiger alongside them. Darmian isn't offering anything going forward and looks exhausted, needs a break imo. Rojo does a job at LB but very limited going forward.

Rooney was complete trash and every time he puts in awful performances a debate starts on his best position and inevitably leads to him being seen as someone whose making great sacrifices for the team, probably my only complaint about Neville's commentary is how he's always making excuses for him, it was actually Carragher today who brought up that Rooney is at fault. We should be looking at replacements immediately, how much you want for Payet Hoopie?

Mane would us some legit options at RW and 10 his delivery was excellent today. Would pay £25m.
