Can was fine, he was also the furthest forward out of him, Milner and Lucas and wasn't playing DM at all.

Thought we were pretty unlucky, Gomez isn't ready and I never really understood the praise he was getting but even then it wasn't really a pen. Also thought the decision to give the FK before the Blind goal was pretty marginal.

Also unlucky that Clyne pocketed Memphis to such a degree, forcing LolVG to put Ashley Young on.

Me and Zee were referring to an earlier post of the Pool team going forward which had Can as DM. I'm personally not digging him out for his performance today just that I don't think he has the skill set to excel at DM.

lol, sure the style of play is unexciting and the squad make-up is not optimal like fanerio said but that statement is just plain hyperbole.

Considering the context of the results and his personality this interview is surprisingly more sensible than expected

I understand that and was objecting more to Zee's post than yours. Also, he's 21 and has never actually played for any sustained period of time as a DM, way too early to be writing him off.

We've used the same XI all year when we could, I doubt we see any change.
Only real question is Mertesacker vs Gabriel.

that expected goal difference picture is just incredible

worst start to the season from a defending champion in premier league history? Legitimate question? Has to be worse than Moyes' united

I think Gabriel plays and we start Walcott again up top. Wonder if ox starts for Rambo. Doubtful I think.

Yes. Very likely this is the biggest collapse ever in Prem League.

Rodgers has to go now after this, waited so long to see him start Ings up front with Benteke and he plays him out on the wing!

Why he never tried anything different when it was obvious within the first 5 minutes we were in major trouble I can't explain.

His post match interview was ******ed to! “We defended well, the only problems we had were caused by our own mistakes"... How can you be defending well while making mistakes that cause your team problems? Not even like it was just one or two. Every time we had a goal kick and the ball went out of play so they cut to shows a replay, by the time the replay was over it cut back to Man U players on the ball attacking.

blackburn took 4 pts from their first 6 games after their title, chelsea will be gunning for the tie next week

such a shame that pulis couldn't find another goal vs 10 men

There's someone running pure, but it certainly isn't me.

You'll need Kane to score a hat trick to be 70 points in front.

I'm not worried just yet, I've overhauled much bigger leads before, just ask Haphazard.
