Just asking, I don't know anything about how bookies operate.
bookies haven't seen der model. I'm gonna take advantage of this until they adjust accordingly.

Hate that midfield at home against a "lesser" opponent

For the most part a decent bookmaker like Pinnacle will set the opening odds but are then guided by their shrewd customers as to where the price should be, that's when they'll start increasing their liability. As someone mentioned, bookmakers are more interested in balancing their books more than anything.
ok thank you. sorry for the newbie questions. ive never bet on football before so just asking hehe. prem football is 99.99% unbeatable though right?

i *think* im quite shocked how theyre more interested in balancin their books more than anything. I thought they do with transfers and not with football matches?

I wish I had written this down before the season started, but I had similar thoughts. The thoughts were/are that Leicester is gonna be a bit of a surprise, Aston Villa and Sunderland are **** and are possibly going down (for my prediction let's say I predict they are going down), Arsenal is gonna win the league.

I didn't remember though that Ranieri's last employment was the farce of Greece. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

And let's say the third one relegated is gonna be West Brom. I know I'm gaining advantage now that they've played three games, but at least I'm naming all three teams which are gonna be relegated, so it is gonna be pretty impressive if I get ALL three. Also Arsenal is gonna be a bonus if I get that one right.

Each time I open this thread something crazy gets posted.
This time Crystal Palace has a chance to finish in the top 4

fwiw...i think youre very very stupid (not actually stupid irl) if you think villa will go down this season. Think it semi shows you havent followed closely what has happened the past few seasons and this one. im guessing you just think "down, benteke+delph gone :O"

not just saying because i support them

Still want that wager with you burns. Maybe I can get you now dishing out the hate to make a small $25 wager. Villa top 11 you win. Villa 13-20 I win. 12th push

Just seen on FB that if you get your missus pregnant now, it will probably mean 2 weeks maternity leave during the Euros.

Spoiler:
You wont get to watch much football though

West brom have played the two best teams in the league in their first three matches AND yesterday they signed Johnny 'top 5 Central defender in the PL' Evans.

And lol at Arsenal winning the league.

afatwitterk pool's lineup will be identical.
which i think is a poor choice.
actually much rather see 2 strikers.

is there anything worse than an international break straight after deadline day?

It's because he's getting some fast ball played through to him instead of that crap served up by Christian 'I only excel at set pieces' Eriksen.

Nah its a good choice, even though we've kept 3 clean sheets the back 4 still need to get to know each others game and changing the system up front could have a detrimental effect on the defensive side.

Plus this looks like a good game for Benteke, Coutinho and Firmino to get to know each other and score a few goals.

Maybe sub Ings on in the 2nd half to make it 5-0.

So Robbie Savage has just admitted to messing about in training and deliberately falling out with the manager in order to get a move from Birmingham to Blackburn.

Thoughts on that?

Personally I have no problem with players wanting to leave but him admitting to that makes me look like an even bigger ****. There is a way to go about things but that is crossing a line.

Bournemouth 2.1 at home to Leicester. Southampton 2.08 at home to Norwich.

Market thinks Bournemouth>Southampton

People think Leicester is going to smash on the glass from how fast they ran.
