Let's say all bets have the same EV on Pokerstars. In that case you should go for as high odds as you could get for the free bet, cos you want to maximize the possibility of getting the bet refunded. Or when you get righteously lucky, you get like crazy money. I wanted no crazy variance so I bet on something that I got 16:1 odds for. But in theory you want as high multiplier as possible.

Maybe most of you already know this, but maybe someone doesn't know. I just did some math and I'm pretty sure of this. I can show you how I calculated it if someone questions this theory.
