That's the UEFA coefficients as of right now.

Realistically any one of Germany, Italy or England depending on performance could be out of the top 3 rankings.

Spain are miles ahead due to strong performances in both the EL and CL. The EL still isn't quite doing it in England, teams would still rather not bother with it. R.K said the other day that saints will take it serious - will be interesting how that'll effect their domestic form.

UEFA give the same points for each competition.

Myhill, Chester, Dawson, Lescott, Brunt, Morrison, Gardner, Fletcher (c), McClean, Berahino, Lambert.

That's 3 forwards.

meanwhile in the conference south:

Very happy Denayer, Iheanacho, and Lopes have made the main squad. Hopefully Mangala is no longer a dumpster fire or else Denayer should just be thrown to the wolves.

Do managers every say they aren't taking EL seriously while they're actually in it?

You've added the 16/17 season for some reason. The ranking that determines the spots in the 17/18 season European tournaments (16/17 are already settled, so the clubs know what they are playing for this season) is here: http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/...crank2016.html

Italy need to make up 3.8 points on England and 5.3 points on Germany. Everything you earn is devided by the number of teams entered in total.

The Champions League gives out bigger point bonuses for reaching each round, so you will earn a bit more there (Barca got 38 points last season, Sevilla only 32 points), but the win/draw/loss points are the same and you can end up playing more games in the EL so it's not a huge difference.

That's a lot of added value for both German and English Cl teams. Hidden future revenue.

Rooting for sterling to score goals to make a few plop fans cry.

would be too much to ask if he could take off his shirt and show a "**** u plop" message on his undershirt

There seems to be a trend of not wanting to play your Copa America players just yet.

WBA fans booing Sterling, why? Are they all secretly Liverpool fans?
