Exactly. This is why we shipped him out on loan last season and then he failed to get a game when on loan. We cannot carry passengers. Arguably no side in the Premier League can, but it isn't an option for those there to make up the numbers.

Zárate caused controversy when he was photographed apparently giving a fascist salute while watching Lazio lose to Bari in March 2010 among a group of fans, though his spokesman claimed afterwards that the player "did not realise the significance of his gesture" and did not know who Hitler or Mussolini were.

In 2010, Zárate's transfer was involved in another controversy for solidarity contribution.

In March 2013 he was fined €500,000 by Lazio. He had requested time-off to fly home to Argentina to receive treatment for a skin condition. Instead he had flown with his family to holiday in the Maldives.

Having made four appearances for QPR without scoring, in May 2015 Zárate reacted angrily to being left out of the squad for a game against Liverpool. His actions were deemed bad enough by the club that he was ordered to make his own way back to London and was subsequently banned and fined two weeks' wages. Such was the length of the ban, coinciding with the end of the season, this effectively ended his QPR career.
has always been a super talented player, seems like a world class ******* though

not worth the trouble probably

This is grounds for execution at dawn at Pulis-WBA

He is talented but nowhere near enough to justify that.

He had one year left on his contract as far as I'm aware.

Those bashing Benteke, there was very little decent build up play from Liverpool at all for him to get involved with.

- Benteke is going to take Liverpool to the top 4 this season
Spoiler:
and hopefully only the top 3 make the CL

**** goalkeeping isn't variance either.
How can you possibly argue **** goalkeeping isnt variance? It's the most obvious example of variance ever.
Quite clearly, no keeper has sustainably made the mistakes pgame that Cech made today.
If you don't think it's variance you are implying that Cech can be expected to perform equivalently in every match through the season.

Finally some variance talk

I missed the aids discussion about how scoring from 30 yards every game is not sustainable.

Nathaniel Clyne's game by numbers vs. Stoke:

100% tackles won
100% aerial duels won
5 clearances
2 interceptions

Bit gutted Benteke didn't score, I really did think he was going to hit the ground running. Coutinho's passing was a little off and Lallana did barely anything so I think once Firmino and Coutinho are firing on all cylinders the goals will be pouring in.

Great 3 points today at a tough place to visit where a lot of people were writing us off, made even sweeter by the fact all our title rivals dropped points.
08-09-2015 , 02:23 PM
Yea Clyne looks really solid and think Firmino is gonna be a huge player for us. Benteke is exactly how I thought he was and while he will score goals he is really not the type we needed.

Yeah, if you have a **** goalkeeper, **** goalkeeping isn't variance. If you have one who has performed consistently at a world class level for over ten years and he makes a few errors, how is it not variance? LOL ikes as usual.

I think that was a great moment...just like how Wenger picked up his coat 5mins before the game ended. I would like to hear what he had to say to the team after the game. It was a long time since I've seen MrWenger this mad(e)
08-09-2015 , 03:06 PM
Not sure what to say about today.
"Arsene out" crowd, GFY.

Stoke had some fun transfers the last two summers. How did they look vs pool?
08-09-2015 , 03:07 PM
they looked fine, it was an even game
