Totally unprofessional leaving out the diacritic on José's name but happily does it on Arsenes and Suarezs.

ADM - 1645 min
Cesc - 2890 min
Eden - 3379 min

it's a bout volume as well

That's what I meant but I CBA finding the figures. ADM kept playing with his form would have been around 200

SCOREPOINTS

Also ADM cost the same as Cesc and Hazard combined

Well, at least her line is consistent.

Definetly not a subscriber to the baids theorem though

I've noticed her moronic Sunderland articles in the past but did she pick Spurs and post-Suarez Liverpool for the title???

Generally Guardian's Premier League coverage has become awful. Somewhere in the past I remember depth, fine prose and solid analysis now it's hacks Jamie Jackson and Daniel Taylor doing tabloid journalism and the "10 things" hot takes from their writers after each round regularly has me fuming strongly disagreeing with 9 out of 10 takes every single time. It's amazing really.

Jamie Jackson is a hack indeed, I think it was him LvG called out in a press conference this summer for "always making stuff up" or something to that effect. Pretty sure that's all they do, the lot of them, but it was still funny that he said it to his face.

Finding Guardian is pretty bad these days across many things - news, comment, sport. Just another click bait site now where anyone can post an opinion. Had to check and hope she predicted the arse this year.

louise has it right, gotta make stupid predictions cos if it comes off you're a guru with magical powers according to the fat blokes in pubs

in the same vein, lvg could've just played herrera in midfield last year but whose gonna pay £8m/year for a manager who those sorts of boring decisions? anyone can succeed like that. gotta play a phil jones & rooney CM with fellaini up front, herrera on the bench and di maria in the reserves if you want guru status

You're probably making a joke, but I'm actually starting to think that's part of his thought process.

Yea of course that's her play. The problem is the internet never forgets. To really be a guru you need to bink it first time and then people will ignore your future bad predictions. Or bink it first time and make safe plays hoping your reputation holds.

might be, the tim krul substitution nonsense at the world cup was quite clearly a guru ploy so we know he's got that in his arsenal

and it worked on that occasion

in theory, but i fear the recency bias might overcome reputation if she binks

LVG was just paying homage to Mighty Ducks 2, what better way to show the world your appreciation of a cinema classic?

Can't believe the season is back in 3 days! - It would be nice if some supporters of different teams could give us their thoughts on how they think their team will do this season. Particularly less covered clubs like (Burns Villa / Tchaz Brom / BONY guy Swansea)

I am finding it difficult to have an idea of what we can expect from Everton this year. It just seems a really quiet pre season . Dealefeu and Cleverly should prove good business. We go into the season very thin at centre back with couple of youngsters our options behind Stones and Jags. I expect this to be T-how's last season for us as he has been pretty crap for a while. Our little Kone continues to struggle so any injury to Lukaku should hit us hard. Scottish Messi will poach goals but he is not an out and out striker imo. Ultimately the biggest impact on our results this year will depend on if our manager wants to be known as bobby brown shoes and play good tactics or be known as the thin Spanish waiter and do crap stuff like passing the ball sideways and backwards in a slow and dull manner . Prediction with no new major signings or outgoings - 9th

Who is running the table prediction thing this season? Was it Chris or LO?
08-05-2015 , 08:23 AM
you cant be pleased about the cleverley signing and then complain about a style which involves passing the ball sideways and backwards in a slow and dull manner. gotta drop one of those opinions
