I've given up attempting to understand the thought processes of the imbeciles I'm forced to surround myself with when I go to watch a game. There was a point last season where I felt like walking out, not in protest at the team or the manager but because I was on the verge of punching someone.
It's the entitlement that pisses me off the most I think. A growing number of fans think that paying for a ticket entitles them to see a glorious victory every week, and when they don't get what they want they then feel entitled to shout racist / homophobic abuse at whichever player or official they choose to victimise. I don't enjoy being a part of it any more, and I'm hesitant to expose my daughter to it.
