Horrible thing to say, but if Lovren were to pick up an 'unfortunate' training injury, we would instantly be improved in defence.

Yea in all seriousness I'm not too hopeful about how we'll start the season. We might kick in to gear a bit when we're full strength but there's been too much change again.

Not expecting any higher than 5th.

he clearly hasn't recognised the real problem Arsenal have, which is in-game swapping of shirts.

It's the last part that is the most ridiculous for me.

He says that he's reminded of Man Utd's decline when they went 26 years without a title, then compares it to the late 80's, immediately before the decade in which they won 6 titles.

To be fair to Keane he evidently doesn't give a **** what he looks like, look at the ****'s beard in the photo.

Based on what I've seen so far this pre-season, 5th is our absolute ceiling for this year. I have no confidence in Rodgers at all. My blind dog can see that Lovren should be nowhere near the field yet he's going to be starting next to Skrtel. Just absolute incompetence and it's going to cost him his job.

I can see him getting sacked by Christmas.

don't understand liverpool posters' pessimism either as they had a very decent window making very good depth improvements
if brendan wasn't such a donk there would be a very good chance to finish above utd

Little reminder that Plop actually paid £20M for Lovren

I'm guessing it's more relating to their general transfer policy, which to be fair in the early Ferguson years involved quite a lot of bidding for anything that moved and as many misses as hits
