~now? this is the last season of the contract, so i assume is has to be decided sooner than later.

NBC has done a great job with it and have little else programming wise, so they're expected to take a healthy run to keep it. but they're up against ESPN, who have the rights to almost everything. and then there's FOX, also deep pockets.

should be interesting to see how it plays out, could get pricey.

Ive decided im not going aids up this thread this year with the whole "lolplop" every tiny mistake. Feel last year thread became a bit redicilous with the whole "lol team" and it took away from actual legit discussion. (and tbh, its just become boring)

hoping some people do the same. Im pretty sure the whole "lol X" every 2 mins is why langer left. Who i thought was a cool poster.

My birthday monday and the game kicks off at 11pm. I know its only a ****ty cup. but best birthday present ever to be getting football back <3

Definitely , but last year was probably the worst hit season for a long long time, I can't imagine it being that bad again!

And luckily we seem to have cover in all spots, last year we had just the two cbs, that really set us back first few games.

Sherwood didn't really seem to fancy Gil last year at all. Don't remember him getting many minutes once he took over.

im pretty sure he said he liked him but he just didnt want him playing in relegation battle.

He was starting preseasons games i think before he got injured and im quite confident he would have been sold by now if sherwood wasnt interested in him or planning on using him quite a bit.

Regardless though GK was their major weakness in an otherwise world class quality team so adding the 3rd best keeper is significantly improving.

I was a huge fan when he first came in, just always skeptical when someone gets shipped out of a club so cheaply.
